I never laughed so much since a long time.... I heard a lot during our training sessions here over the radio, but he tops it all. Fantastic video by the way and happy flying... !
Nice one Pete. I got 2/3rds over to the twin peaks a couple of years ago but found nothing but sink once I left the house thermal at Legar. My first xc, although a mini one! Can’t wait to go back next year or later this year. You were halfway to Ronda!
hehe its hard to form a gaggle.... especially with different timing to takeoff... so congrats for the patience waiting for the teammates ... nicelly done and super cool footage
Thank you 🙏 i love this harness, really light ! Perfect for holiday flying especially if you have to walk after long XC. Not good for beginners or first pod harness. You have to be familiar with pods before you will buy this one. Will do video about them , give me around week and i will short it out 👍
I'm curious how rough or otherwise the air is in mid February. Some of your vario readings looked quite gentle. What are the average thermal strengths you were climbing in? And how are conditions generally. Darren suggested they were really rough but that may just be his experience level? (No offence intended Darren). Good to have commentary on route planning with thoughts behind decision making. Nice videos of holiday.
Air was quiet smooth with gentle thermals, in some cases bit strong stuff up to 6m/s. Yes your pilot level doing a lot. If you hug core tite then you do not have bumpy air. Darren was always outside the cores so there you will find bumpy air. When you fly H pressure system then when you hit inversion , you will expect really rough air. Glad you like my video 🙏 always while i am flying i trying to say what is in my mind as people can learn more. So that why my videos are mainly about talking 🤷♂️ take care John and stay safe 🙏
@@PeterHoldy Thank for for the reply. I did an SIV on the Lake Bornos but didn't have the chance to to Xc while in Algo. Everyday is a school day in paragliding, I have nearly got the hang of thermalling but still have a long way to go after about 350hrs. Keep up the good work and let's hope we may get some more flying done before too long.
Nope, i turn back. I could go as far as Ronda but someone will need to drive there to pick me up, so i decided to fly back to Algodonales👍 hope this pandemic will be over soon so we can fly again 🙏
That looked amazing! You are using your usual wing here? The Cure? I was wondering why in previous clips you were using a borrowed wing? Thanks for posting.
Yes i was flying my Cure. And it is my main wing or only one 😉. Luisma give me his wing to try it. Always like to try different wing , harness. So that why i was flying his wing in algo for fer days 👍
Nice vid, but two mistakes here IMO. Firstly, great glider control, but why are you not holding your brakes when turning and taking off from reverse? Second, why is your speedbar not connected before takeoff? These mistakes could cost you darely... Anyway..Happy flying! Be safe! 😊
Big nice takeoff and light winds so that why i do not holding breaks as is easier for my control glider. I use to do that all the time and yes speed bar hook sometimes get loose when i doing GH. I was flying whole week and that never get loose just this takeoff it get off. Thank you for watching 👍
Darren for president!!!! His commentary is spectacular funny... !
😉 yes he is so funny 👍

Birds are best teacher. Always learning from them 😉 they had millions years of evolution so they are sky gods 🙏
Hello. Can u tell us ehat glider u have ?
Sure, my glider is BGD- Cure 😉
Hey Mate awesome video! what do U think about your harness ? Its a light harness right ? Would love to hear your opinion!
