not a huge fan of the direction the guitars have been taking ever since reflections, I feel like they dont fit that well with the vocals and melodies, I'd expect them on those prog math rock bands but belmont was always (at least to me) the evolution of pop punk hoping that the next album has slower, less technical and more melodic riffs like the ones in "what I lack"
I hadn't thought of this before. It's a very interesting take. I like the new stuff but I do see what you're saying. It's still good, just different. The complexity is insane!
@@SubBassX yeah I dont usually like the "go back to your old sound" guy but the between EP is so fucking interesting guitar wise that I really wish they would revisit that style of writing, it honestly felt more inclusive, this new inds of rifs are basically telling me to fuck off, get my face melted and die haha
