I’d love to see a more direct and in-depth head to head with the pro staff and the head gravity line. I use the gravity pro but I always wanted to try the pro staff since they both fit my game

How did you find the quality control? that's what made me decide to go for the Vcore Pro HD. Oh, that and that I felt the grip in the Gravity too short!

@@elchanclascocina To be fair, this is one aspect which Head could potentially improve. I have 3 Gravity Pro frames, and it is apparent that they all have slightly different stock weights. That being said, I bought them at 3 different times from 3 different suppliers. It does not affect my game though.

Would you say the GPro is better suited for flat hitters? Or is it spin friendly?

I think people in general over calculate their NTPRs and up playing with models that are less forgiving. We know that there is a honeymoon period with the new racquets so I advise longer demo time. As an example I can say that many people playing with Gravity pro would do better with Gravity tour or even Gravity MP in long term in the real world unless you are truly NTPR 5 or higher.

What would you recommend for an intermediate player, who tends to hit flat, but is looking for both control and power as well as comfort?

Funny you find the Gravity Tour and PSX to play similar those are my 2 frames of choices right now and really love them equally.... for longer playtime the Gravity may be easier to handle due to the lower static weight though....

Mike at MP Tennis loved (enough to switch) the Shift 300 for a couple of weeks, then developed arm pain. Jonas, have you played with it long enough to notice arm discomfort? Seems like a great frame otherwise!

With that swingweight, isn't the Shift closer to Head boom than Head speed in the way it moves?

Yes, I would like to see full set videos. If you could increase the height of the back fence camera it would be very helpful. And if you could do it with swing vision it would be the cherry on the cake, but if not, the camera's heignt alone and the quality of play would be awesome. Thanks!

Great video to help with clarification on the differences amongst these 3 lines! BTW, I have a 315 Shift below spec 293 unstrung swingweight in my hands, and am loving it since I liked the 315 more, but worried about ending up w/ a 340+ swingweight. This is ~325 w/ strings, perfecto for me

Just got my Shift 300 and played a few sets… Still early for an assessment, but so far I’m happy. I’m a senior looking for a lighter racquet that will support my all court game, one -hander, touch, etc. I use a SW grip, but still hit flat a lot. I love the whippy feeling, especially on my one-hander. Really enjoyed hitting that shot… lots of drive backhands and occasional slice…. touch was great , and flat serve was impressive. I need more time to adjust with my forehand. Again, too early to assess, but so far I’m am very happy with the Shift 300…

I hv the pro staff 97 315 16x19 (lux alu power 17) and blade 98 305 16x19 (solinco tourbite x vanquish hybrid), what I love about the pro staff is what I don't have in the blade vice versa. I love the control, serve and volley consistency on the pro staff but it feels like it lacks the flexibility and spin that I receive from the blade. I also love the blade's feel and relatively powerful spin on my forehand, but sometimes it lacks control especially in my backhand and volleys. Although I know some of my issues are related to skill (hahah), but can you recommend me with a frame that is in the middle between the two?

Amazinng video as always! Right in my wheelhouse. How do these compare to the vcore pro 100? (which is my current racket) I am trying to find something that can give me a little bit more weight of shot and stability, without giving up the forgiveness, control, and the comfort.

SHIFT seems to be more for rec players, whereas the more serious players like Daniel and Nikki play better with the Gravity Pro. You can definitely se that those Swedish guys in the end are not even close to the same level of the others.
Gravity Pro has been the best new introduction of all tennis brands lately for higher level players! You can see many pros, but also higher level amateurs switching to it.
Forgiving and controlled, which is good.
Also, yesyesyes to match play from Daniel and Nikki!!!!

Pro Kennex Ki5 295 has a very dense 16*20 pattern. Excellent stability. Evenly balanced. Give it a try Jonas, I'm sure you'll really like it since you hit your forehands quite flat.

They both have 18x20 string patterns. But, the Pro has a thinnier 20mm beam and the Tour has a 22mm beam. The tour has a bit of a lighter swing weight, but they play very differently and i prefer the Pro by far. It has more plow through and a connected feel.

@Tennisnerd What do you think of the Pro Staff 97 in comparison to the Tf40 315 18x20? Spec wise they look almost identical. The Tf40 is 0.5mm thicker beam and 1in bigger head, but I think the 18x20 pattern would make up for the head size difference. I haven't played with the new Pro Staff and I recently got the Tf40, so I'm curious about your perspective from playing with both racquets.

Thanks for this video! I am shopping around for a new racket right now and I was looking at the Wilson Shift. I am play testing some now, but there are so many options it is hard to know what to get. I would appreciate some advice. I currently have an old Wilson six one 95. I am a bigger, stronger guy and really do like that racket on my forehand. However, I have a 1 handed backhand and I have a hard time with consistency on it. Play testing some 100 sq/in rackets that are lighter has made a huge difference on the backhand. I do generate a significant amount top spin, although I am not sure I would consider myself a spin player (I really like to go for big shots). I have 5.0+ shots, although I lack the consistency to actually rate there. What would you recommend for my playstyle?
