মাত্র 15-16 বছর আগে কতজন মানুষ প্রবাসে ছিল। 2 কোটি মানুষ আজ প্রবাসী। এতে অবশ্যই কোনো না কোনো সরকারের অবদান রয়েছে। সত্যি কথা বলেন বিদেশে যাওয়ার রাস্তা সহজ করোনে কোন সরকারের অবদান সবচেয়ে বেশি? বিদেশের শ্রম বাজার কোন সরকার বেশি তৈরি করেছে। 15-16 বছর আগে দেখতাম মানুষ জমি জমা বিক্রি করে বিদেশে পাড়ি দিতে চাইতো কিন্তু 90 ভাগই যেতে পারত না না
আমি যখন স্টুডেন্ট ছিলাম ৮০ র দশকে তখন সারাদিন ব্যাপী ট্রেনে চড়ে বাড়ি যেতাম। ট্রেনে বসে চিন্তা করতাম লন্ডন প্রবাসী সিলেটিরা তো ইচ্ছা করলেই দ্রুত গামী ট্রেনে র ব্যবসথা করতে পারে।
