Thank you for this! I've been looking at the TrackRig for use with Multitracks Playback. They don't list it as compatible on their website (possibly because it comes from a competitor service for the same type of service). We've currently been using an ipad with the app that the drummer controls, but we only have the two channels going to the board...the complete mix and the click. By any chance, do you know if connect via USB to an iPad works the same way with the playback app and TrackRig? I've seen the PlayAudio1U sends 10 tracks and will work with an iPad, but costs more than 2x the price of the track rig. I'd like to keep using an ipad over a Macbook if possible. If it doesn't work...even at 2x for the PlayAudio1u it would be cheaper than a dedicated Macbook and TrackRig. Any thoughts?
So the trackrig and the playaudio are basically just audio interfaces. So it should connect up to the iPad no problem. I would suggest getting a decent usb-c hub that will allow you to plug one usb c into the iPad, then you can connect both power for the iPad and the usb for the tracking to it. The trackrig has its own power. So it doesn’t need it from the iPad but it also won’t send power to the iPad either. You can get a decent hub inexpensively on Amazon that will work. Hope this helps!

It was also good to know that it would remember the routing when plugged in. Being a portable church like yours, I don’t have time to sit and program it each week as the system isn’t setup until the night before. You answered all of my questions and concerns I had with it. 👍

I have been searching for a way to "change guides".
I have noticed several times that there are multiple chorus sections, but the guide will always say "Chorus" instead of "Chorus 1" & "Chorus 2".
Do you by chance know how to do this?
This is my 4th video today, but nothing has explained this.
Thanks for the comment. I'm glad it was helpful in some way. As of now, I don't know that that is a feature available in the Playback system. I have not come across it. I like the idea though. I will do some digging and see if I find anything.
Hi Jonathan, quick question. We are a very small church. All we want to do is play songs and have the lyrics scroll on the tv monitors. Everything is already set up for this, however, I need to know which multitrack product to purchase. Can you help?

Do you go from the Laptops firewire to USB?
In the context of that video, it is going out USB to a loopcommunity tracksrig. The tracksrig give then 8 XLR outputs that then go into our board.

Unfortunately yes. Multitracks has everything as separate pieces and you have to pay for the parts you want. So you'll need to add that subscription to your account to get playback to work.
