Hotels with no lifts provided are total turn offs! I will definitely not stay in such hotels! Not worth RM800 to stay @ this stupid hotel! Pity their staff who have to walk up & down the stairs such as chambermaids & Bell Boys etc.
I remember this hotel as the Merlin Inn Resort where we once stay in Cameron Highland for several years. It was the famous hotel in front of the golf course in Tanah Rata and going up to Brinchang town. So much had changed since and it is still a 5 stars hotel rating after so many years.
Thanks for sharing of its history, I did see the name of Merlin sculpted into copper wall on staircase between 1st and 2nd fl and wonder if that was the earlier name, indeed it was
Definitely a destination in itself. Luv it, from the old world charm to the nice wooden flooring in the rooms. No lift no problem! Any time man just need to have the money 😅
Very nice well maintained small luxury hotel, bellboy very swiftly help w the luggage, you'll need it esp when you stay on the upper floor😂, junior suite well appointed, definitely worth a splurge esp when you are celebrating milestones, they obligedly decor the room nicely, breakfast was nice as well, overall, impressive stay in cameron highland❤❤
Its only RM800. Not that much money for a suite. It’s definitely worth it. Especially in Cameron Highlands where there are only full of airbnbs and ghosted hotels..
Nice service and amenities. Unfortunately the rooms facing the road are not sound proof and are rather noisy and distracting for sleep should one decide to open the windows. Spent a night there. Never extended bcs impossible for a quiet night sleep. BTW the restaurant service is over rated and quality of cuisine so so

Beautiful Place. Looks luxurious. Worth it calculate in US$$$$180.60 (RM$800). Food & Drinks are excellent delicious.

If you are celebrating milestones or bday, it can be worth it😊😊 and stay 1 night is enough as not much facilities inhouse😂

Price is inclusive of breakfast, like the a la carte buffet, food is freshly prepared and one can eat as much as wanted
