Loved the burn you received from Elaine 🤣🤣.
It looks like the bars serve two purposes. Protect the bike and make recovery easier.
If I get a tourer, these will be a must to have on the bike.
Definitely worth it I’ve dropped my bike couple times practicing slow riding techniques and protects all the main parts only scratches the corners of crash bars, you can purchase drop guards that go on the corners of the crash bars that protect the crash bars but I hopefully don’t intend to drop it that much to need them 😂
Well done, Paul. All I want to know is why you used Elaine's gloves? They looked like they started to split. Rode well. Cheers
Nah mate Elaine’s are pink, I’ve got my own special ones for when she makes me do the dishes, it’s a tough life
It's nice when something like that is just easy to do! Will save your bacon and makes the beast look top notch too.
The first thirty seconds made my heart cry out for you and also made me laugh. Great intro guys! Nice job and the bars look great, they suit the bike.
Nice work Paul
Hope you enjoyed the Dan HOG Thunder Run, and thanks for the can of Coke! 👍
That was a bonus on my Streetglide that they came installed however my Roadglide cost me extra to install them on that baby. One month after hubby installed them
I dropped my bike.
@@TheHarleyRoadshow Yes I agree and saved myself so much damage when I came off my bike. Pheww!!! A true essential
Definitely a value add product offering great protection - not to mention the blue gloves 😉
One of the first things I did when I acquired the SG - First time in 50 odd years of bike ownership, feeling obligated to run 'crash bars' ... sign of the times?😄
The sad thing is that those rear crasbars used to be installed on every E-glide in the past decades. Also those great passing lights on the the batwing fairing and tons of Chrome parts. Overtime the Company did raised the prices every year and then stripped the bikes of al parts that did cost any money ! 🤮
Nice vid. I've got crash bars on my bike. I was worried about dropping it and damaging the bike. A good investment I think 😀
Is that stock seat?
It’s a saddlemen road sofa extended reach seat that I had custom upholstery done on it
I don't like the term 'crash bars', but in your case, you have permission to call em anything ya want after what you guys have been through!!
Thanks mate, I’m an official test pilot for all new Harley safety products 😂
Been riding for past 47 years and have always referred to front bars as crash bars…
@@markbaker2629 oh, I completely get it ! It's just in my simple mind, I'd rather call em Engine Guards...sounds less ominous 😅🤣😂
The new saddlebag guards look great. I was dying laughing at the live chat. 🤣 🤣🤣
Thanks mate
