It is amazing that you can learn, master, and perform the routines in just a few days! I realize we're talking about professionals, but it is still incredible.
The brain strain is real haha 🤣. It's both mentally and physically demanding in rehearsals, plus skates aren't designed to be worn for hours and hours on end. Your feet start to burn like fire lol, especially if you're doing a lot of steps on your toes! 😆. Rehearsal feet is a thing 🥵.
I used to lose around 6lbs+ in a week's rehearsals when I was in shows. Imagine going to the gym from 9-5 lol 😆. Fun though! Even more fun once they're over and you open though. It's a relief! 🤣🏴⛸️
it’s definitely mentally exhausting 😂 we’re all completely wiped by the end of the day!

Yep! Lol. There's a lot of extroverts for sure! There were no camera phones in my day, but I wish there was! 💖💖

Dumb skate questions: I assume the skates are yours, not provided by the show? Do you just have the one pair, or do you have different skates for different things? And do you get any maintenance help with your skates, or do you do all your own sharpening, etc

Have you found Gab 2.0?! Curious if any of your fellow skaters are also from cruise ships. Your coach seems very happy and impressed with how quick you were picking it up, no surprise there! Such a silly question! About how you do up your skates. You seem to go down over the hooks. Is that right? And maybe it’s just because it’s sped up so much but I don’t see you tying them???
I lace them going too to bottom on the hooks- it’s how edea recommends to tie their boots!! hehe
