As a man with severe depression as well as having ADHD on top of it, I find it really hard to study. This helps as much as it can but clinical depression has a way of distracting me to do self destructive behaviours instead. I really do thank you for this - its the strongest one so far.
I was diagnosed earlier this year. I know exactly what it feels like. being able to focus and study is a huge accomplishment, I hope you recognise that. you'll get through this bro. keep hanging on
I am in the exact same situation. Recently, I had one of those streaks of very rough days. I found that I perform better in my daily life by tasking even the most miniscule things and taking one day at a time, one hour at a time. We are going to make it, brother. Sadly, and yet comforting, we are not alone. Cheers.
I would strongly advice you guys to seek trustworthy psychological and psychiatric help. I still find it very hard to study, but it helped my depressions A LOT. Also a lot of Jordan B Peterson was ridiculously helpful against negativity :D And do workouts at least once a week!
As soon as I pressed play on this it felt like I was 'waking up' like I had been in a fog or sleep. The fact I can write this comment without turning off the music (which I always have to do when typing) is honestly amazing. (Also digging the Westworld/Synthwave vibes for sure)
I was never diagnosed with ADHD; I never had problems focussing at school or anything. In my adult life, however, I've definitely developed some bad procrastination habits, especially when it comes to working on a computer. I recommend having this playing in the background for everyone who struggles to focus. It really works.
I always thought i havent had problems focusing in school..but truth is i didnt really have to to get average grades and the really interesting stuff was no problem either.. but now as i study i notice that i cant really stick to long tasks :/ and no nice advice from people are working lol. Only those specific for adhd people:D but bc I hadnt had issues im school and as a child i dont dare to go to a doctor asking for a diagnosis
Same. never diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, did fine in school/military, actually straight A's in college. now I'm a police officer and I have some serious issues with procrastination and focus for typing reports. This stuff does help, even if it is a bit repetitive.
This music makes me feel like I have been placed in a gameshow and I have been asked an incredibly difficult question to take EVERYTHING home -- everyone is in suspense and I've been given 9 hours and 14 minutes to give the correct answer 🤣
100% omg lol. Yes this is it. this should be in the description of the video. It's like a combination of calm yet suspense keeping us focused and on task. Love it
You absolutely have ADHD If you, like myself, discovered something mystifying about this, whilst thinking you don’t have ADHD. I’ve played this to countless folk who don’t suffer and they just didn’t get it. Get a diagnosis, however old you are. You more than likely have ADHD if this video helped in any way.
@@Deleted11100 as much as I support the motivation to get diagnosed if you suspect you have ADHD, I don't think it's right to say they "absolutely have" it as if it were the only way in the world you could find this stimulating. still a good suggestion though, just be careful with how you say it since we don't know this person enough to act like we know better
I cannot tell you how focused this music makes me. I feel like I am on a mission; I am researching something super important; there's something I need to figure out.
YT is full of "concentration music" however this one works much better for me. I've been on my desk for 2 hours completely focused on my task without any distractions. Normally my mind would be racing all over the place which sometimes get really frustrating. Thanks you for posting this.
This didn't kill the constant urges I have to do something else, but it sure tamped them down to more manageable levels. I actually managed to finish reading a paper that was thick with needlessly long words last night. Thank you!
I have ADHD, anxiety and autism and this music is perfect for all of them. I can feel each beat and it calms my anxiety and helps me concentrate. Thank you for this music.
@@MnMEminem if someone is experiencing symptoms like Redfox because they have a neurological condition based in autism, it is not hypochondria. This music has been such a strange experience for me cause for once, my thoughts weren't bouncing all over the place and if they tried to jump, the furthest they would get is the bass, slowly reeling them back into focus. It's like my head actually has some space for me to think in rather than being overwhelmed with every possible option at once. And on top of that, it helped my partner, who has issues falling asleep due to anxiety and ADHD, relax and be able to sleep! Thank you for this, this is amazing!
@@RapKrider thank you. I really appreciate your words. It means a lot to me. And yes, if everything works out for me, my future will involve writing :)
I feel like adhd is like a whole bunch of people talking to you at once in your brain, but what one person has to say is the most important. Finally everyone else in my brain realized I needed to listen to one person.
Whomever made this, thank you so much. It is helping me immensly to focus on a specific task I need to accomplish while being under a tremendous stress.
As an Adult with ADHD who has been trying different music since being back in college, this has worked tremendously. I've been able to read, focus, do my work without feeling distracted, but also not being stuck with the distraction of complete silence.
It would be amazing if this got added to Spotify! I checked some of the "ADHD" playlists and they really weren't all that great. This one has been awesome!
Ten seconds in and I can already tell this is perfect. Best way I can describe it: It's repetitive without being repetitive. That's the sort of music that always helps me focus the best. Really appreciate this, thank you!
I have ADHD and severe noise sensitivity. I used to try and listen to music with headphones quietly while listening to other people in order to drown out the extra noise, but most music was too distracting or not consistent enough. This is perfect. I listen to it while people talk to me and I can still focus on what they're saying
this is the only type of music which is effective in helping me concentrate re-ADHD. It's that base beat. Also cant be overly complex or have too many different pitches. Your "focus music for better concentration" is also very effective. just the right balance
Yes. I was using lofi for studying, but sometimes they put talking or other noises and I get distracted. This one is amazing. [I don't have ADHD, as far as I'm concerned, "just" anxiety]
I basically pulled an all nighter fnishing up assignments and I can say with 100% certainty that this is the only playlist that has ever kept me calm and focused for 6 hours straight. I think I have ADHD so I'm going to therapy but thank you so much for this playlist because it really saved me.
there's an urgency in it, as if you are in a situation where you have to escape impending doom. Which is the living reality of a sense of inner constant pressure and free-floating anxiety most people with ADHD live from. So matching that, will shift the internal space outward and calm us. Especially for empaths. Thank you!

I was finally able to do things! I wish I could express my gratitude.
I don't have ADHD but it is helping me focusing on studies every time I get a bit distracted or tired. Many thanks, tried a lot of those before finding the one !! 🤞❤
I procrastinate a lot, and tend to pick my phone up at least 3-5 times per 50 minute study session. With this, I’ve only picked up my phone twice and been on it for no more than 2 minutes. I’m very happy with how effective this is
next phone you get have one where you can take the battery out, it's so cumbersome putting the battery back in you notice you are doing it and think "oh yeah.. i took this out for a reason"
i was skeptical when i clicked on the video but jeez dude I'm keeping this for a later date. i feel so powerful listening to this. as someone with adhd, it's seriously a relief to find this.
i clicked on this to laugh at it because i used to listen to hundreds of ‘deep concentration music’ playlists when i would insanely procrastinate and none of them worked. this one actually does and i’m shocked. i feel so relaxed
This is very well Titled... Also, I just low-key had this running in my headphones during a work meeting one-on-one -- it actually helped me to focus and keep from fidgeting and interestingly it kept my part of our conversation moving forward. The other person was driven forward by my energy, and the circle was complete... Next step: sleep to this tonight... deep, beautiful sleep...
I can't believe I've had this looping for 4 hours and it hasn't started to annoy me yet. I don't think I have ADHD, but I do have problems getting into flow. This is helping a lot.
As someone with ADHD, I love that this is 9 hours long. It's just enough Time for me to either focus on a task, or go through a round of executive dysfunction.
you can loop it if you double click and click 'loop' in the menu, or if you're on a phone, click the menu on the top right corner (where there's caption settings too) and click loop. [ achievement gained: infinite productivity ]
I second the game music associations. I have used the x:3 Terran conflict soundtrack for focus a lot in the past, and this is similar but even better suited
Out of all ADHD music out here on youtube, this was the first one I've ever listened to. I have tried numerous other music as well. They are all good really. However, I keep coming back to this one. Fantastic music.
It may be self-suggestion, or it may really be due to music. That way I had to live a twisted life where things couldn't be easily affirmed. I'm pretty strong ADHD, but things turned around when I found this channel. I'm happy to finish one job. It's just one thing, but you can still finish with the vision that came to your mind at the beginning. I'm not young anymore, but I don't think I can't help studying anymore, and I'm thinking of regaining the 30 years I had given up studying. Now, it is becoming possible to lead the rain of knowledge, which has been pouring over a wide area, to a single river. Not only does it wet clothes and evaporate, but now it is so cohesive that it moisturizes the throat as drinking water. I'm really happy because I didn't find it so much fun to have the knowledge in my head and keep shaping it to the end. Thank you for playing the music.
I put this on and just worked for several hours straight on a project I didn't want to do without any desire to break from what I was doing, this is actually insane. I finally was able to get into such a deep focus after trying for so long without something like this. Thank you :')
Man, I just want you to know how much this has helped me with getting through university. With this music, some good medication and no distractions I have been cranking out assignment paper after assignment paper.
Ive been listening to this for the last couple days on repeat and I swear this is the only type of white noise music that won't bother my brain because I can't pick out anything that doesn't "go" with it. It just distracts my brain enough so that I don't focus on external stimuli but it of itself is not distracting that I absentmindedly, like I said, nit pick or hyperfocus on things and end up getting derailed.
I totally got every word of that to my core and ditto these expressions. It doesn't stop ALL of my 'inner gotta git thats' but it was absolutely re-entering and even settled my brain back to the tasks at hand...work!!! Thank you for this, Creator of this.😊
POV: You have nothing to focus on, have ADHD and are now scrolling comments in hyperfocus because you were curious if the music worked (it does, obviously, now stop scrolling and go do something).
My brain is so quiet now. It's not hopping from thing to thing in an effort to do everything all at once; it's just...listening...and behaving. Even the fleeting thoughts I have are relatively unintrusive. Thank you 🥺
I have never found music that works better than this. I take nothing to help me focus so I rely solely on techniques and environment to help me. This has been a lifesaver, thank you for making it! I wish it was on Apple Music somewhere, I found some of your other stuff but not this one.
people don't understand just how bad adhd can be. this music is incredible, way better than meds. I don't know why it works but it does. thank you so much
I used to play Chromatics - Tick Of The Clock on a loop every time I went outside. This video is similar in that it keeps ticking over, steady. This calms my racing mind and focuses it. Guess I have ADHD. Here's a to a steady beat in life from now on for all us rapid thinkers!
I love "Tick of the Clock" too. In general I absolutely love electronic music that has a steady rythm and melody that always keeps going with only small iterative modifications.
Recently diagnosed with ADD by my family doctor but was unable to take meds because of high blood pressure. Thank you so much for this. You're helping people a lot more than you realize.
One of the meds for ADHD is also used to lower blood pressure! Apparently that med also helps with the rejection sensitivity that often comes with ADHD. And it's good for restless legs. Plenty of non-stimulant ADHD meds. The stimulants make the can't switch tracks thing worse. Like, getting stuck not doing what you should be doing. It does makes boring things more tolerable and makes you less likely to start chaos to make work meetings more interesting.
Good luck to you all. I gabe ADHD and study right now for my final exam to become a medical doctor. Maeby we see us on a concress. Best wishes from swizerland
I got diagnosed with ADHD well before elementary school and my parents put me through countless therapies including the prolonged use of Ritalin which, honestly, screwed me up even further. Listening to this is... hard to describe. Can one define a thing he doesn't knew existed? I feel a peace that i never experienced beforehand. Like, after many years of running in circles and jumping from one attraction to another, my mind decided to sit down and just watch/listen. It's wierd but in the best way possible and atm I'm just at awe.
This really works! I was able to sort out my entire wardrobe and drawers. For 3 hours a day in 2 days. I postponed it for 6 months. I listened with earphones and I was so calm and focused. Thank you! I will try this with work next.
i dont have an ADHD diagnosis, but I've been trying to start on my assignment for weeks but couldn't - tried listening to this and suddenly i'm beginning to process what i need to write. thank youuuuuu T-T
I listen to it nearly every time i study for an exam, i cannot express enough how much it helped me already. Even when i got anxiety from the overwhelmingly amount of stuff to do, this helps me come down and concentrate. Thank you for that. Greetings to you all from slovakia and i wish all the best and alot of success.
This music does help me concentrate. I've listened to other versions from the same channel (one had a water bird image). This one is a bit more sci-fi themed, makes me feel like I'm focusing on some intense task in space. I like this one, and I like the more plain versions as well.
I loved this helped me so much to write this T-T This how I would describe ADHD. An impossible maze in your brain of trying get one thing done or doing the right move. There are things to distract you like a minitour and you have to fight it. Making one wrong move leads to more tasks to complete to fight this distraction. The distraction leads to stress, which is like being clueless of what to do or the maze tumbling on top of you. Maybe someone cut the focus wire in your brain making it malfunction or stop working. When it is repaired it doesn't last long.
been hella procrastinating on catching up on my senior research paper all day- and listening to this,, omg. ive gotten more work done in an hour than ive gotten done in 2 weeks bro. this is a godsend. its interesting enough that it keeps me from getting bored of the music, while being simple and not distracting enough that i can just hone in and work. this video with my headphones that block out outside noise- adderall in sound waves dude. thank you sm
You don't know how happy I was finding this . Every other video that was for "ADHD" was so slow and low tempo that it made me frustrated more than anything. This one helped me clear my head right away so I could solve crimes and cold cases
This got me trough my last two assignments and I am using it again to write my thesis now. Thanks whoever you are, every time I can't seem to concentrate I come back to this and other adhd tracks of yours!
Whoever made this song, thank you, thank you so much. This has not only been a great help for my ADHD focus issues, but it also comes in really handy whenever I have to deal with stress and anxiety. This is really soothing.
Really, I like it because it reminds me of crazier time signatures in songs that Tool uses, but I truly like it because I write fanfics and this fits many themes I choose. Brava👌 - Heath, 33 years old, ADHD
As someone who's lived with ADHD his whole life (40+ years of the full experience, really,) this gets a 9/10. Not enough Jungle Drum & Bass. Edit: Turned it to 2x speed and it's boppin'.
Thanks so much for this tip! I was getting bored and frustrated with this track initially, but having changed the tempo up to x1.5 (x2 made me want to dance too much) I'm now totally in the zone and not even thinking about the music 🙂
im only 1minute into this- and i already feel calm . a minute back i was struggling with so much pent up energy and i was getting distracted couldnt even sit on something for more than 20seconds- it was starting to get tiring and i literally felt like itching the back of my brains. now i feel stable. THANKYOU FOR THIS-
I've aways felt like something was wrong with me my whole life, especially now in my adult life but I've never been diagnosed with anything. Never been to see a doctor but everytime i see videos that talk about symptoms, they relate to me. Music like this calms me down. My brain is so loud with thoughts I don't know which is my own anymore because I've spent so much time trying to quiet the others down, i forget along the way.
When I first heard the music playing I was like this isn’t going to work. I was reading the comments and even thought they were lying lol. But dang. I haven’t moved through work this efficiently in atleast a year. Super proud of myself and super grateful for this sound.
I literally just typed a paper with this playing. It's been playing for 2 hours but only seems like I've been hearing it for so minutes. Now I understand why I love soundtracks and developing scores so much. It's something about the change in tempo that really gets me going. Thank you for posting this
i love how the sound structure and beat structure is so different than other binaural type instrumentals it kind of highlights how our brains operate on a unique wavelength.
I've been struggling with an assignment for weeks. Finally sat down but couldn't focus. I randomly found this audio and it helped me finish the paper in 2hrs. I had distractions but they were so minimal. I'm feel so relieved. Thank you so much! Wish all the listeners a great week!
Anyone else pick this specific video every time they study? It's the only one that doesn't have weird distracting notes that throw me off. I come home and turn it on, lol. Thank you @GreenredProductions !
I was struggling so much with my science presentation to the point of tears. Then I turned this on and all the stress melted away. It was so much easier! I'm not even sure if I have ADHD, I think I might but either way this is such a blessing, ha ha!
It's the perfect mix of being interesting and stimulating enough without being too distracting or noisy. Helps me to work on my book without being distracted every 2 minutes of my surroundings or losing dopamine
The left-right panning and the mostly low frequency are very satisfying to listen to. Feels like a massage for the brain with the right headphones/earbuds. Highly recommend turning on noise cancellation if possible.
This is WONDERFUL!! I work from home and definitely have a LOT of distractions, plus just not wanting to work sometimes (because I AM at home). This music immediately locked me into my work, and also kept me at my computer working longer, not wanting to get up and take a break from the hum drum nature of my work (I am a Medical Coder). I LOVE IT, and will listen every day!! THANK YOU!
After YEARS of trying to find music that actually puts me on track and helps me concentrate (I don't know if I have ADHD but I'm easily distracted to the point I was almost fired) I finally found something. THANK YOU.
this music makes me think about adhd differently. take for instance if this was ocd music itd be more upbeat exact repetitions but adhd people enjoy evolution of ideas. like taking a pattern and changing it ever so slightly. the music is very repetitive but it syncopates through the drumming movement of the bass and overlays its various repetitions constantly. its always moving at 2 different speeds.
also i think the screen shot represents the vibe perfectly. imagine... the boat is time and its going over the bassy orange sea of constant repetitive waves. glossy black birds flying overhead traveling together in sync but they're going the other way. the vision is almost forefront in my mind while i listen to the music
Makes me wonder if ADHD people in general enjoy minimalist compositions more than the average population. Pieces like "Canto Ostinato" come to mind here. If you enjoy this music, you should check it out :)
You should check out the "drone" music genre! It's really niche, but the whole concept of repeating patterns as you described is all the genre consists of.

I was never diagnosed with ADHD; I never had problems focussing at school or anything. In my adult life, however, I've definitely developed some bad procrastination habits, especially when it comes to working on a computer. I recommend having this playing in the background for everyone who struggles to focus. It really works.

I swear this is like a massage for the brain. Not just for ADHD.

Yes, it does that nearly as well as the theme from the 1960s Tarzan series.

I've tried about 4 dozen other videos with the same goal, but none of them hold a candle to this absolute banger.

This how I would describe ADHD.
I always put this on when I'm studying. Keeps me awake and focus on my work!

After YEARS of trying to find music that actually puts me on track and helps me concentrate (I don't know if I have ADHD but I'm easily distracted to the point I was almost fired) I finally found something. THANK YOU.
this music makes me think about adhd differently. take for instance if this was ocd music itd be more upbeat exact repetitions but adhd people enjoy evolution of ideas. like taking a pattern and changing it ever so slightly. the music is very repetitive but it syncopates through the drumming movement of the bass and overlays its various repetitions constantly. its always moving at 2 different speeds.
also i think the screen shot represents the vibe perfectly. imagine... the boat is time and its going over the bassy orange sea of constant repetitive waves. glossy black birds flying overhead traveling together in sync but they're going the other way. the vision is almost forefront in my mind while i listen to the music
do you have ocd or are you making assumptions here? bc I have it and I don't agree
