I can't help but cry not because I am a Batangueño, but the fact that Doy Laurel was one of the underrated heroes who had offered his life for the greater good of the greatest majority. Just like his father, President Jose Paciano Laurel, who offered his life during the japanese occupation where, even the then President Quezon did not stay to be with the people in those most trying times.
