“Ibn” means son, you are write. But, in Arabic songs and especially Khaleeji songs the lyrics narrative speaks to women in male narrative mostly. I believe this is for some traditional or folklore reasons. So in many song you hear “Habibi” which is male voice instead of saying “Habibati” the female voice.
