I think that the chemical reaction at 1:22 is not mass balanced. Precisely, the stoichiometric coefficent of SiO2 into the products (right side). It isn't 4SiO2, but 2SiO2.
Pyrex is a trade mark for a borosilicate glass. The bulb shown as an example of Quartz glass is a plastic bulb with LEDs on a circuit board, and contains no quartz glass. They should have shown an automotive H4 bulb. A sentence or two on what hard glass is made of would have been useful. Oh, and that chemical formula for glass that was on the screen for about a half second made me laugh, though I couldn't read it that fast. I wonder how much they got paid for this sad effort.
Thank you so much i clearly understand process of manufacturing of glass and it's helpful in my exam ☺️
i had watched 3-4 videos on glass manufacturing,,,
this is d only which i like most among those all...😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Couldn't understand from the book. This video made it all clear. Thankyou😊
Sounds a great deal like this was a students presentation, probably uploaded by the teacher at the end.
nice vedio...☺very helpfull for my assignment thanku😊👍
Thank u so much for uploading the video it is very useful to my seminar

Agreed
nice work! keep it up!
Amazing explanation. To understand manufacture of glass and different types of glass and their properties .Thank you nice 😊😊
You are a savior
How are impurities removed, exactly?
Amazing
Thanks for this video now i can easily make my project with the help of this info ❤❤
Mahira Iqbal
Its not that beneficial for project.
Lol😜😜
So glass is scientifically proven super cool
I like it!!!!
its very interested lesson
Thanks a lot.
thank you for this vedeo
what is general formula of glass pls tell
It is very good video I like it
Excellent explaination
Thank you for this I am a student
thank u so much
please help me ,,, i downloaded it but no sound
Thank you
Pyrex is a brand not a type of glass
Pyrex actually makes alot of soda glass the older pyrex was borosilicate glass
When you say annealing strengthens the glass do you actually mean annealing increases the ductility and relieves the internal stresses?
great
Congrats
Nice

Do you mean the voice is a human? OMG I thought it was a voice like google translation or something like that
Good
All the glasses are amorphous and not vice versa
I'm searching "types of crucibles used in glass manufacturing"...
Can someone help me plzzz???

I don't think glass is a highly viscous liquid. According to Prof. Sadoway, MIT.(He is a brilliant chemistry professor.)
no its true that glass is a highly supercooled viscous liquid.....
yeah m sorry i was wrong n i admit my mistake gless isn't a liquid it's a highly supercooled an amorphous SOLID...
His voice is robotic
Correct 👌👌👌👌👌
Hi
You are wrong glass is an amorphous substance!!!!
First!
Correct your channel name
Im pretty sure Its a man talking.
Thats all fine and dandy, this videos are interesting but voice is horrible. Like you are forced to read this or you will be expeled.
are U alive
His voice is so fucking robotic
