I went thru everything you mentioned. Buying a lot quickly. And then, buying everything at the thrift store everyctime i went, not really knowing or having a plan....Until i got to the point of overwhelm and decideed to be intentionally particular.❤.

She's so Precious! Love that outfit on her and the little zebras were cute too! As for my spending, I won't buy a baby until I save up for that baby. Also I don't own any credit cards, so that out completely. Some artists are willing to do custom work, if you contact them and ask (unless they say otherwise) worse they can say is no or not at this time. Some artists are also willing to hold a baby for you and some will take payment in 4 (where you pay for the whole baby in 4 payments stretched out). When I see a face I love and really would like to have (coughs Peeka coughs), I remind myself of all the beautiful babies I already have and think where would I actually Put this baby (I'm running out of room and want to downsize already). I'm also out of room in my dresser for my baby clothes, so no more baby clothes buying unless I'm getting it for a friend or a giveaway, something like that. So that's what I do, no credit cards, save up for the purchase or I don't get the baby. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Thank you! Those are some good habits. And you are right about a lot of artist. Most are really nice and will work with you. I have not gotten to the point I am all full up but that is because I have just started. But I am learning from those before me! Trying to keep it together lol.
