Surprised Ugochukwu, Harwood-Bellis and Bednerak lasted the full 90. Some of the worst performances I've seen from them, which is saying something. We can't play a two-man midfield, we don't have anyone with a high enough work rate. Ugochukwu, Aribo and Fernandes don't have the intensity to close anyone down or sprint back to make tackles and defend. Looked like a 3-4-1-2 with Dibling in the 10-role and Sulemana up top with Onuachu. Think Dibling is better on the right. One of Sulemana's better performances but we lost more from Dibling than we gained from Sulemana. It's shocking how none of our players can even defend a set piece. No one can mark a man or track a run. There is no intensity or aggression or desire to win a tackle or get to a ball first. We saw it briefly in the game against Fulham but it seems to have evaporated again now we have a permanent manger.
Saints just too poor for this level and Brentford were too good for us although Juric should have known better and set us up with a more defensive formation especially considering we'd lost two first team midfielders.
Too late to complain. Blaming Juric for any of this is ridiculous. For the fans, the rest of this season will be an exercise is stoicism and throwing up.
