Just as with coal, bio-char(torrefied biomass/charcoal) can also be used to to produce syn-gas. At the rate this initiative has picked up, very soon Bharat would need t import wood chips as biomass feed-stock !😊 Also, just like China is doing, this charcoal or torrefied biomass charcoal pellet can also be exported worldwide for huge array of uses.

👌👌👌 Brilliant presentation. Thanks Johnny Jai. Jai Hind 🕉️🇮🇳🕉️ Jai Bharat
20% is huge if done everywhere. Nice tech
If all coal plants do 20%, then 155 million tons of torrefied biomass is required, which is 2/3 rds of the way there to the goal of 230 million tons

Anything is good as long as it can stop stubble burning in Punjab.
So cool didn't know about torrification tech..
This is good we need to adopt it faster.
Wow never knew about this

Hi Johnny, can you please suggest the name of the torrefaction project installer in this video?
Biomass should be used as fertilizer. Our soils are becoming less and less fertile rapidly. Using it for energy production is wrong.
Farmers here are burning the biomass, not using it for fertilizer. This is a lot better use then that.
