I will give it a try, but in the meantime, there some great tapestry artists such as: Rachel Hine, who weaves creative faces in her tapestry work. Firat Neziroglu creates more realistic faces with lots of color dimensions. Maybe check out their work for some inspiration for building color and experimenting with shapes. Hi! Thank you so much for your videos, they're great! I know I'm very late to responding to this video but if you're still taking suggestions I'd love to know if it's possible to sew a lining and perhaps even a lining with a zipper into a woven pouch. I'd also like to learn about weaving in unconventional contexts such as on greeting cards, and definitely on jewelry, that sounds great! It'd be nice to learn a bit more about how to go from a sketch to a weaving. You went over this a bit in the cartooning episodes but it seemed like you'd just eyed them up to do that and I'm not sure I could pull it off! But overall these videos are SUPER and I'm really enjoying them. Thank you!
