Operation mad jackal is my favorite mercenaries mode. There's a lot of replayability in it. I love how you have the option of exploring and rescuing people and getting item and rank bonuses. I would always play as mikhail, that dude was armed to the teeth
Not a single game has ever managed to emulate the feeling of RE3's mercenaries, the difficulty, the urgency, the music, it all comes together to fill you with an incredible adrenaline rush

I had to get good if i wanted to hear this awesome track. They set it in the back 1/3 of Operation Mad Jackal when you were running low on supplies and health. Agony is right.
