I have had my Creatly Ender 3 V3 SE since December 2023 and have printed around 10 kg of filament so far. I previously had an Ender 3 V1 with a 4.2.2 mainboard for years, but it's a huge jump to the SE. I've now moved away from super-fast printing and now print rather slowly with the SE, even though much more would be possible.
So far I haven't had any problems, the only thing that was a problem at the beginning is the fact that there were no suitable settings in Cura. But with the V2 settings it worked. I've only had one problem to date, I had small lumps and threads that I could never completely get rid of. Thanks to one of your videos, I changed the values in the firmware and was totally surprised by the result.
Mechanically I have not yet been disappointed with Creatly. The double-sided F spindle on the Z axis is one of the best changes compared to my old V1.
I almost forgot. I had to balance my print bed. The car level is really great, but with a difference of 0.9 mm between the back and the front I had to intervene. I placed 0.1 mm washers under the screws until it fit. Now I no longer have any deviation under the screws, only a slight curvature of 0.03 mm in the middle of the print bed, but I can live with that 🙂

This printer was by far the easiest to assemble and get going, from unboxing to printing a test, after doing calibration and levelling. 10 min, all the shenanigans included. The only thing I couldn't do was to change the nozzle (I hate brass), because it hadn't arrived. Creality really did a fine job on this one.

I just got this printer and it worked well for about 4 prints. Started breaking prints from the plate about an hour to an hour and a half through. I had to touch every srew that I didn't touch during assembly as almost every one was lose. Just an FYI, it will shift on you if you don't make sure everything is tightened. I've also discovered that if you turn your print speed down to 80-85, it doesn't jerk at high speed so much.

I received my Ender 3 V3 SE yesterday. Assembly was easy and fast. I turned it on and after selecting English as my preferred language, it automatically went into leveling without me having to select it. Leveling was long, but straight forward. I did my first print on the magnetic removable print bed. I don't like that base. I had great difficulty removing my print, and when it did come off, the underside of my print was very very rough, like 80 grit sandpaper. I have an Ender 3 V2 which came with a tempered glass bed and I love that thing so much. I decided to buy the glass bed for the new V3 SE, but had issues installing it. The clips I use on the V2 does not fit on the V3 SE. There is a additional black layer on top of the metal heating base and that makes it too thick for the clips to fit properly. I bought some binder clips at an office supply store to hold the glass bed on, but that makes the leveling procedure difficult, the binder clips interfere with the hot end as it moves across the bed. Bought some smaller 19mm binder clips, which I hope will work.

I already had mine set up before this video turned up on my feed but I'll make a few adjustments based on what's in here. Your OG video for the V2 was an absolute godsend so when i saw this was here, it was essential viewing. One thing i did with mine was to keep the large top piece from the packing foam and cut a sheet of OSB to the same size (plywood would be better but this is what i had laying around) - I put the foam down first then the wood then sat the printer on top and it's reduced printer noise to a noticeable degree. Not that it was super loud to begin with! Absolutely brilliant printer so far, looking forward to Prusa Slicer having a profile added for it soon, not a fan of the creality software. Ill check out your Cura profile though!

the OG ender 3 video helped me and it is still running for 5 years, intermittently used it, probably dying extruder driver on the board but that's it. I felt old for missing out any new improvements money can buy the past 5 years, but they are only incremental to my uses so I didn't. everything is so automated and streamlined now too, except that eccentric nut that still staying the same. These machines might be digital and such, but in terms of common sense in the finer zone, they felt analog and hands-on , being in tropics the bed never warped too, so auto bed leveling is useless for users with finer senses, specially being helped with your video back then where the springs were almost fully compressed by modified default(lowering the Z endstop) :)

Folks NOTE: 14:50 that the cable goes BETWEEN the top bar and the bar holding the extruder nozzle thingy, not OVER it.

I just got mine today may 14, 2024 I e had the ender 3 pro for a year every upgrade known to man my original main board went after not even a year. Dual z axis with belt mod, dual gear extruder, glass bed, upgraded springs then silicone spacers, anti backlash nuts for the z axis rods. Both tensioners on x and y. Upgraded bed carriage stronger wheels new standard wheels. Rebuilt from top to bottom and very few good printd I have a full cardboard box of failed week prints. I've tried every slicer and settings nothing helped. I've leveled the bed every way possible new eccentric nuts spacers you make it. So I'm hopeful that my new printer will not be the same issue or my wife will go through the roof. I've spent probably enough on my ender 3 pro to buy a second ender 3 pro lol

You might want to look at a Bambu Lab A1 or A1 Mini instead, they are much better machines.

@@tomyeah the Bambu is the superior machine and produces the best prints I have ever gotten on any machine. I am currently switching my entire business over to A1/A1Minis from Enders.

Great video. I like all the adjustments. We had already set ours up and done a few prints but I think I may go back and do that 30 minutes of adjustments that you talked about. One thing I’d love to see a video on is how to download a print online and run it through the slicer and set up all the settings and increase the speed of the print and things like that. We are just kind of struggling to find what the best method is. There’s so many options on the free websites for ways to download the files. Like cloud, reality, slicer upload or just straight up download the file and then do we have to export it or can I just drag it over into the SD file. There’s just so much options it’s kind of overwhelming.
