@@dubsbangermusic HPF and the beat playing while recording is all the XL Is missing for me. I would always have to wait till I got it in Pro Tools to roll off bottom end. My XL is pretty busted button sensor wise. You think fix the board or get a 2500? (I guess I mainly make beats in Abelton now). Ps. Thanks for the HPF crack 🙌🏻
the 2500 is a really good machine, i would take the 2500 or just get a new mpc theyre monsters and youll be bale to beef up the sound but imop nothing will sound better than the old mpcs... @@michaeltracksuitaudio

Great tutorial but something you said i always struggle with. "Let the sample dictate what drums you should use" i always struggle trying to find drums that compliment the samples. Most the drums i select sound so out of touch, if you have a tutorial on your method to finding the proper drums depending on the sample , please drop it OG!
this is a great suggestion!!! what i could suggest as of right now is that try turning down the volume of your sample so your drums are louder and stand out more, try pitching the drums up or down in tune...
cf card or sd card. from what ive read the cf cards are more reliable. youre max able to use the 16 gb cards. itll be split up into 16 folders of 1gb a folder. not all cf cards will work either. only the old kingston cards will work 133x i believe and the new ones that are also 133x. what card reader do you have? @@jae6220

comes in handy for certain things but also gets annoying to deal with, one thing i recently figured out was i can use it for high pass filtering

How do u track out to the computer to mix?
for now i just record it into adobe audition for a quick record and little compression... nothing professional at all just gives it a little boost

yeah no doubt the 8 outs and eb16fx card is not worth the money, youre better off trying to find it for sale already installed in the 2000 or the 2kxl
