Mercari has gotten so bad. As a buyer, I won't even go to their site because of the exorbitant fees they charge the buyers.

oh....that's terrible Miu Miu was the line from Prada that targets younger crowd...even back then in the 2000s. Miu Miu is the pet name for Miuccia Prada - grand daughter of the family. Althought having said, I have always loved the Crystal clutch bag - not the one on the website currently but back then it's bigger and longer , this model was something I have always wanted due to the interchangeable crystal and rolled braided leather strap....

I bought a Coach Patricia 9951 once from Mercari and I returned it because it was not authentic. I already have a vintage, fake Coach that I bought for $12.99 that I thought it was authentic; I did get lucky once (more than once, lol) at the thrift store though. I found an authentic Miu Miu belt for $1.99 at my local Salvation Army here in California. I always do my research like checking for quality or checking google when I authenticate an item...
I usually do the work, this time I totally got suckered! That belt was AMAZING!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yo compre un chanel falso, por 220.00 , claro que yo lo sabía, que era una copia del classic flap, pues amiga, no puedo con el costo de chanel original, ese bolso nunca jamás nunca podría comprar.
Pero en fin, tal vez puedas encontrar bolso original miu miu , en el mercado preloved , con un buen pecio para ti.

It’s a real hassle and my own fault for waiting more than 3 days. I did message the seller but they deuced out quick. I can totally file for a refund due to it being fake. They give you one “get out of jail free card”. I’ll probably go through the trouble anyway. It makes sense because I don’t feel good about buying much “brand name” on there anymore.

Mercari allows you to return anything that ends up being fake, or not as described! Personally I’d NEVER buy luxury from Mercari unless it’s vintage and from a long time seller with excellent reviews and lots of sales! I got burnt on their website for a fake MCM bag. I asked the seller for a copy of receipt and they scolded me for asking. This bag was $400. I called them 5 times a day for a week. They finally would only agree to $400 site credit good for 30 days. DONE. They allow counterfeiters on their site.

That deal was too good to be true. I don't have any Miu Miu bags but I do know that Miu Miu and Prada bags are super expensive. I have never purchased anything at Mercari.
Yes. Very expensive. I guess the vintage are just super cheap. I would’ve never even thought about the brand but somebody mentioned in January they were hot. That leather tote h had favorited on eBay was right around $190-$200!! I was like okay! I can afford this brand NOPE! And I don’t really know it well enough to know what’s real and not. Macari definitely breaks down on the face, but there are ones that get away with it. I sell on Mercari and believe me you you can’t sell fake you so these people must get them and then they make new accounts. It really is scary but I’m not buying all $3000 bag off of Mercari. I could tell you that if I’m gonna buy preowned it’s gonna be from fashion file where I have a warranty and I know it’s real.

The problem is always that there’s a chance that someone will list an item at a too good price and it turns out to be real. That’s happened to many of us, so you just think that it’s good to take a chance, but then if you end up screwed it sucks! I love that bag. Maybe Tiffany & Fred will dupe it! I would rather have one of their dupes than a crappy fake any day!

Mercari is a crap shoot. I usually buy fragrance samples to try them out before spending a lot of money. But I even got got because they don’t make sure their sellers are accurate about dupe fragrances. I wanted to try Baccarat Rouge 540 and got a “great deal” for two roll-on bottles. Turns out they were dupes and the seller didn’t highlight the fact except in the teeny tiny description way at the bottom. The main title was for Baccarat Rouge 540. I would leave your seller appropriate feedback and let Mercari know. That’s a lot of money, Winnie Bee. 🤦🏾♀️

I feel like this is more of a Mercari issue than a Miu Miu issue, but I can understand. I stopped using Mercari as a buyer and a seller years ago because of their fees and shipping issues.
It is but I like buying preloved and for me I have no clue on this brand. So that’s probably why I won’t ever try to buy something again. The prices run low to high and look all the same. I guess the more vintage pieces would be affordable but still, it’s really cute but something I would have to buy from the boutique. 🤣❤️❤️

Hi Winnie, I've had several Miu Miu items. They're very high quality--nothing like this bag. It's a Prada brand. The issue is Mercari and those that sell fakes there. I try to avoid that site altogether! Thanks for this very informative video! It will help unsuspecting buyers! 🥰🥰🥰

I have a Miu Miu Clutch Pouch. I bought it from the Prada Outlet. In case you didn’t know, Miu Miu is an Italian high fashion women's clothing and accessory brand and a fully owned subsidiary of Prada. Miu Miu is the nickname of Prada’s youngest granddaughter, so anything Miu Miu would not be like Tory Burch or Coach prices.
You should totally get your money back. Then Mercari would have a record of this fake product sold on their platform whether they condone it or not. At least they know you know and you want your money back. Put that money towards another handbag.

When Oroton ships to the US do you know if they ship with the AUD conversion rate? When I have looked at their site it tells me it is USD and I've been confused bc I know it should be cheaper with the conversion rate. I think they mark them up for the US market. I like a few of their bags but have never purchased from them.
