The energy these two bring to battle rap is fucking incredible. Every time I watch this battle I swear I can see their auras leaking out.

This battle was so intense. Had a really unique energy. This showed what Danny is capable of when he’s got all his energy and focus on a big opponent. I’m not hating on his volume of battles, I love his work and the more Danny battles the better for his fans. But I do feel like, when I see what he’s capable of here, or against Pat, at his absolute peak; that he truly is one of the best of all time.
Sidenote: a lot of people think it was a bad look for Danny to stay so close to Diz. I view it as vet move. Diz used his size, performance, erratic movements, etc… to bully his opponents. Danny nullified that. That’s a goat move, you gotta nullify your opps strengths.
I have Danny winning this, but I can’t argue too too much with people who give it to Diz. The only thing I’ll argue with is anyone who calls this a “body” or a “thirty.” This was a classic.
I wanna see more of THIS version of Danny. You’re right about their energy; to me Danny FELT like the Bar God in this one right here.
