I love you videos and your creative projects. Your techniques, colour choices and combinations are all always so beautiful. I find your videos so educational and helpful because your explanations are so clear and detailed. Today you mentioned that you finished with a solvent sealer because that’s what was required. Why was a solvent sealer needed in this instance? I’m still learning about when to use water based versus solvent based products so please forgive me if I missed something that you’d already mentioned. Also, earlier in the video you used a rectangular colour pallet to mix the gold powder with the liquid product. Do you know where I could find one like that, it’s the perfect size and features I’ve been looking for. Thank you in advance for any help you can give land again, thank you for teaching me so much already!!

Hi Maureen! Thank you so much. I apologise for not mentioning this earlier. A water-based sealer can react with Component 2 in the Fineline Crackle, potentially ruining your project. This is why a solvent-based sealer is necessary in this case. While solvent-based sealers are not typically required for water-based products, Fineline Crackle is an exception. Hope that answers your questions.
If you’re looking for colour palettes, you can usually find them at discount stores, art shops, or on Amazon, depending on where you’re based.

Hi there. Thank you for sharing. Would you be so kind to post a photo of the small hook (I think you referred to it as a bale). It looked like it had a flat part which would sit better inside the two mould when sandwiched together
