What an awesome game to watch!! Last year around this time I was in Knoxville and visited the Vols campus. I learned so much about Pat Summit while there 🧡 This year I visited the Huskies campus and absolutely loved seeing their sports museum. They had a bunch of Sue Bird stuff and I absolutely loved it!!! 💙 What an era for women’s basketball!
UConn and Tennessee- one of the greatest rivalries in women's college basketball. Headed by two of the greats. If there was one team that could keep up with UConn it was Tennessee.
Uconn Huskies women's basketball team = most dominant college basketball team ever men or women. 11 national championships a record hopefully will never be broken.
Given the events of the last few years could you edit out Bill Cosby at the end of this video? He doesn’t deserve to be featured in this clip with these two amazing basketball programs that have done so much for women’s athletics. Thank you for posting this game. It means a lot as a longtime Uconn fan.
The 2000 team was probably the deepest of all the UConn teams that won the National Championship. The second five of Paige Sauer, Stacy Hansmeyer, Asjha Jones, Tamika Williams and Ken. Johnson was as good as any other team's starters. Other UConn championship teams generally went 7-8 players deep.

Tamika Williams was too fine and a hell of a player / gabby Williams reminded me of her.
