Yes you get to control your speed on the ride; i loved going fast, they kept going slow on turns
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
I might try this one. Looks like a lot of fun!
I rode this with my niece it was great !! but with a lot less brakes
The down votes are for the ride through suburban blight, NOT the video. Thanks for this! I like the architecture of the “stations,” but the coaster’s a bit anticlimactic.
Is this or the Runaway coaster better? Im going this weekend but I can only choose one to do, which one is better?
@@acceleratedcreative i personally prefer the other one because this one just doesn't have much to see. but last time i rode it was when it was first built and the dirt got in my eyes
This coaster can go much faster, the driver was using the brakes! It's fun and worth the money!
Yeah it's a fun and unique concept and the station is very nice, but my only complaints are that the tracks are really short and it has some very heavy automatic braking. Though, even with the automatic braking, that second half, you can get some serious speed that's not shown in the video as the rider seemed to be riding the brakes a little too much in that second half. I'm also glad that some vegetation has grown in as I rode it the first day it was open and struggled with getting sand and dust in my eyes.
Did you brake that much yourself, or do the auto-fun-brakes do this for you?
I road it in branson
my family rode this one and the runaway mountain coaster. They are both pretty darn fast. I didnt have the guts to go full throttle the whole track on either one. We thought both rides were fun and worth the money.
He def uses the brakes
Did not go fast enough for me.
Why did u wuss out and go so slow?
We had some camera difficulties that day. When we ride these mountain coasters for fun, we all love to go full speed. In fact, we try to delay our dispatch from the station in order to give the people in front of us more room in case they decide to stop or slow down!
Kind of lacking, seems like most of the ride is UPHILL or flat. The other coaster in town is better i think. The water slide this replaced was more fun!
looks boring an doesnt appear a whole lot of visitors...
can’t believe they tore that cool (and profitable) waterchute down to build this shitty coaster. now there is no one there. the runaway mountain coaster next to the fallcreek steakhouse is much better.
I know that POVs can be deceiving, but that ride looked 1. slow (was the rider hitting the brakes? if so, why do a POV if you're going to touch the brakes?), 2. frustratingly short, even if there were two rides, and 3. mellow in the layout. I've been on four of these in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and they seemed like much wilder rides, with hairpin turns and with the kart skidding and careening wildly at many points. Also, night rides on these things are far more fun, imo.
Lee Johnson Yeah, this is a LOUSY video.
I rode this very same coaster on Oct. 21, 2017 (at night) and really enjoyed it.
DO NOT USE THE BRAKES!!! Just let 'er rip!
What a disappointing ride. Looks like yu spend more time going slow than enjoying the speed.
The actual experience is much more thrilling. Tip: Don't brake like the video here does, just let it run.
Sorry I think it looks lame
George Lang Each coaster design can be a bit different. There are a number of things we like about this ride, but there are some things that might not be as exciting. More lift hills gives you time to enjoy the surroundings and provides a longer, different type of ride experience. However, give us a one long hill experience with a major down hill run, and we are super happy too!
No thanks! Not trying this looks too short. Rather have the water park back :(
I've ride this. It's very slow. No lights at night no music. Kind of boring. My 8 year old granddaughter loved it because she got to be the only rider. For big boys go to the Runaway off the strip.
