When Cosworth expanded its customer base in 1968/69, one wonders how much overtime the staffers did to keep the race teams well-supplied with engines.
Impressive to see the technician doing the hand-tightening of the nuts. Other shops I'm familiar with would have used air-wrenches.

It makes me wonder how many Cosworth DFV V8 engines were built during it's lifespan in F1

well that's all for people who want more DFV stuff, since the topic of this program is about the "ground effect"

If you've ever heard a bda screaming past at 10000 rpm or so, you wouldn't have made that comment. 4cylinders can sound brilliant.

Nice. Let the engineers have their time to caress those beautiful, cast parts. A striking difference to today's standardized, minimized, unpersonalized parts. If they could, they'd replace it by electrical engines. Sure, great for the environment, but where's the sound? Of course, a 180 degree sounds like shit (=a straight four) anyway.

180 degree? you mean Decibel sound, right?
Special effects can solve that problem, you use several Large Surface Transducer bolted to the chassis, over driven by a 1000 watt Class-A McIntosh Amp 🤣 pumping out V12 sound effects, like those that come out of the tailpipe 👍
