I ADORE their spontaneity! There is no one else that I have found so far that I enjoy as much as Sarah and the Let’s Make Art team. I love following her tutorials and often find myself watching the whole thing before I start. So much fun!!!
This was just what I needed today! I traced like 6 other projects and didn't want to paint any of them. So I did this one from a kit that I had gotten months ago. Super fun and I did two greeting cards to go with my big painting. Another great tutorial and I so love to hear Sarah and Michael's banter.

Macarons (ron) are the filled meringue sandwiches and macaroons (roon) are the shredded coconut ball type treats, and the bottoms are feet💓👩🏻🍳
Yes, this! Aside from both being delicious and similar in spelling, macarons and macaroons are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT cookies. With each having a different pronunciation. A macaroon is a heavier, coconut based cookie, & pronounced with an "ooon" sound, whereas a macaron is a much lighter, meringue based cookie, pronounced with that "on" sound (think French accent. Sarah's joking French accent was actually pretty spot on).
Good pronunciation! Yes, macarons are totally different from macaroons which I love too. The "crusty part" is called the "foot" of the macaron. they are temperamental to make but oh, so good! Great tutorial. Thanks!

That's funny you say that about the croissants in France. I regret splitting the most amazing chocolate croissant in Italy with my friend because I didn't want the calories. That was 7 years ago this week and to this day I still think about the croissant! 🍫🥐

Wait...you're in Hamilton!!! My grandma is teaching me to quilt and introduced me to the Missouri Star Quilt company youtube videos! She was featured on the CBS Sunday Morning Show a few months ago. I've always wanted to go back and explore the Ozarks, and Hamilton is definitely on my list! So neat that you both are located in the same city!

Macaroons and macarons two different things. These are macarons.
It is spelled macarons, macaroons is a different cookie altogether!!!

Oops, can’t keep up. My granddaughter is a master baker and the difference is macaroon (as you said) is the coconut. A Macaron (short o as in on) is a different kind of “cookie.” Very hard to get the baking just right.
MacarOONs and MacarONs are two completely different things. I love you but this hurts my head to hear macarOOOn. *sigh*
