Underneath the smut (which I happened to enjoy) there’s some poetic, thoughtful prose. I assume the critics only acknowledged the surface shock material.
I was still in secondary school when I learned there were no male cows...in a physics course of all places. A classmate was the son of a dairy farmer. 🐄
I used to know someone who thought that cats were female dogs! Needless to say, he didn’t become a vet.
Cows has been sitting on my Kindle for a bit now, I'll have to give it a read. I was intrigued by how revolting it was said to be, glad to hear its a bit more than that, if only ever so slightly.
I recommend it. It’s a quick read, too.
Sounds similar to the aussie movie bad boy bubby from 1993.
I’ll have to watch that.
