This is one of my favorite performance videos ever. Just saw them in person on their farewell tour and was praying they'd play some A to B life songs. Not only did they do that, but they specifically played Nice and Blue into Silencer just like the video. Special experience from this special band. Farwell mwY. Thank you
this is really a time capsule of the early 2000s, back when people were holding up bigass camcorders at concerts before there were phones with cameras. the sound quality isnt too bad either compared to alot of new phones.
Cornerstone is one of those festivals that I remember my Mennonite friends always mentioning but I never had the chance to attend... really sad I missed this, I like the atmosphere I see here.
When Aaron starts singing "My Exit, Unfair" during the ending of "Four Word Letter", which I didn't expect them to still play at this point, is just stunning. Any idea what band is playing at that very last snippet??
I was middle school/freshman age when I was really listening to a lot of this and similar bands never really realizing the music that really resonated with me in those years all ended up being Cornerstone Christian types and I somehow never really knew this was occurring and moving on to different genres as I Grew up and moving in to a less savory lifestyle that to no surprise matched the garbage music ( current genre now shockingly blatant with literal luciferian/occult lyrics) that I added to the genuine early 2000s stiff I’m now 30 and discovering the one true ancient Christianity in a very real way so I’ve been kinda forced to reckon with the content of most of the degenerate rap that I have recently “relapsed on” aftern not listening to music for a while just sticking to podcasts where I heard about a documentary about the band luxury and discovered this Cornerstone event basically had 100% of the bands of my youth and go figure the most significant music of my youth are all Christian ones who played Cornerstone I always had faith in Jesus Christ but never really found a church that didn’t seem off and had me really concerned the older I became until many years later just before turning 30 I discovered Orthodoxy and although I’m still very outside of the Church I’ve spent nearly 2 years just taking in tons of Orthodox content and learning as much as possible before jumping into anything bc something about this discovery just felt significant and then I found out that I have a lot of things to learn.....I’m rambling like a crazy person I just realized haha and basically what I’m not very concisely trying to covey to anyone who may read this (God willing) who believes that they are a Christian who is in any of the thousands of denominations out there. Scripture clearly references a single unified Church body and it’s simple to trace back through history to find out that only one church that exists today that would even be recognizable as a church to the early Christians. even if they didn’t understand the language. Protestant variations don’t stand the test of time and/or continuity only dating back a few centuries please seek Orthodoxy even if just challenge your beliefs bc if they’re true they should stand up to some debate. I promise you Orthodoxy will destroy your worldview in. The best way possible. Seek Orthodoxy bc your soul literally depends on it
my left ear loved this
That's what happens when camcorder tapes from the 90's are transferred to digital format.
@@awakeningdezign if you don't convert it to mono before uploading, sure. Great footage regardless and I'm glad it exists

Yeah, I was using some pretty retro gear compared to todays technology. All recorded on tape. When I found this video I was pleasantly surprised.

There will never be a better band. Ever.
I was definitely there. Somewhere.
holy crap. I was in that crowd. I worked as a photographer for the music festival.
What an incredible memory this must be
What a performance. Hectic Aaron.
I think his performance stuck with me as much as the music, for sure.
Man I’m glad I got to be 18 and see them at this time. It was all magic.
thanks for 20 years, boys. I hope it was a good run!
Ahhhh! I wish all of silencer was recorded. He was in the zone!
Man this takes me back, I’m not too old now but means more than many words
One of the best bands I ever seen live,.
Man, seems like just yesterday. Went to their last live show in Michigan last year
they diserved the main stage
This right here is GOLD✨, thanks for recording and sharing
Wow, how amazing
No ways - it's November now and YT only suggests this now?? Thank you for this video. The phones in the background lol
those camcorders haha
Gold
💐 🌸 🌺
The fashion then was insane lol
I forgot what people looked like 20 years ago
I'm kind of surprised at the audio quality. You can hear all the instruments and vox and this was 2002 when the portable video recording was shite.
these guys are real life Frank. Secure the Galactic Perimeter
DMYZ WUZ HERE

I believe that would be Starflyer 59. A nice shoe gazer band I've always enjoyed.
This is the Genesis show
I always thought their attire was interesting. They went from dressing in suits to dressing like 1960's hippies
Aaron looks like 2011 Cedric Bixler Zavala here.
looks like it was filmed on January 1979
Or February 1878, who knows
i miss the bass player, he has such vibe
Jesus have mercy on us
the dad cams are out pre cell phones lol i did have one also sony made the best
They kind of look like the Beatles
The camera man must've gotten bored towards the end...
Just enjoying the music man
Christian Ian Svenonious lol
