Im very glad I held back on every ulx batch until now, because its very good.
But its not without flaws, there is some nitpicks. My battery is glued sideways, tolerance with top and sides isnt perfect, there is some gaps and 1 is leads to sharp edge.
Clicks feel great but are clumsy, hope it wont get worse over time, right click aint perfect is rattling a bit. Also maybe im just super sensitive to it, but while holding especially right button for prolonged time, texture on it is uncomfortable for my fingertip. For fps is not a problem tho, if there is zooming i always have it on toggle.
But overall mouse fells great to use, and jumping from superlight 1, weight difference is massive, its so much easier to use, scrollwheel and side buttons is night and day difference.
Yeah, I've seen mixed units on reddit. I guess some people got lucky. Massive upgrade from the first superlight tho, I hope you enjoy it!
@@itzKami oh i do, And i think my unit overall is great, only small nitpicks.
It doesnt have any big problems i heard were a thing with previous ulx'es just hope they wont build up over time
Got mine a week ago, and they've actually done the impossible
I've owned a few Starlight 12's and I had a first batch ULX and they all had horrible QC, some of the worst m1/m2 pre-post travel and click grinding i've ever seen on a mouse
this one came out of the box almost perfect, I could tell instantly they finally managed to put these together properly and basically all the issues are resolved, the switches feel great and no creaks, still looks like people didnt get as lucky
@@Dizzyfatpigeon Glad you finally got a perfect copy
Are you saying the ulx competition is worth buying, the best mouse I’ve ever had was only like $20 so this is a big jump but I want best of best
@@MGV192 The best mouse is of course subjective to the user
but in terms of shape, tech, weight, usability, I would definitely say this is currently the best on the market
Since I've had my ULX competition, I can actually say i've been extremely happy with it
The only risk you are taking is that with used or new, you are taking a dice roll with the QC which is always typical with finalmouse
if you want an alternative that does 99% of what the ULX does, look into the 'WLbeastX'
Idk what to do tbh… I’ve always wanted to try one but I’ve held off on all the drops cuz of the terrible QC issues and stuff but now that that they’re dropping on the 7th I wanna buy it just to try one… but I am still hesitant just cuz of price and the qc lottery
If they haven't changed it, I think they have a 14 day return window within you getting the mouse.
I just wanna know if it’s worth it, to e best mouse I’ve ever had only costed $20 but I want the best for competition in Fortnite
You don't need a ULX to achieve high-elo, but it would be an upgraded over the 20 dollar mouse. There are many alternatives that are cheaper. If you don't want to spend too much and purchase from a local retailer you can look at Logitech and Razer (many pros use those mice from those brands and are capable of performing at a top-level).
Are the creases on the mouse noticable like feel wise or is it fine?
It’s fine feel wise
@@itzKami Is the shell flex really bad? Im thinking of getting one
@@AquaUnkempt I dont have any shell flex or creaking, but those things usually come after awhile of use.
Bro, did u tried wl mouse?
I was considering wlmouse for awhile, but it doesn’t make sense to get one if I already have a ULX.
@ yeah its true, tbh its literally the same mice:D but i excited bout their newer upcoming drop carbon mice, seems like they would be fire
@ yeah they’re pretty similar, I love their designs too.
@@itzKami brother me too but you said since batch 1 my g. might as well get the bxm
@@wolfyakuza The beast x and ULX came out relatively at the same time. WLMOUSE was an unknown company and many people on twitter speculated whether or not the mice would even come out. The ULX also on paper has better latency and battery life. At the time Finalmouse was seen as the better option.
waited two months abd then fedex took it to the wrong address. still dont have it
My unit for the small comp has terrible clicks. Loose, grinding, too much pre/post travel. Already being returned.
That is very unfortunate. Sucks to hear that some people's copies are still having qc problems.
If you care about getting the best you woud never touch Finalmouse . They throw out a nad product knowing there Fanbase will buy it anyway and the relaunched the same mouse over and over the basic ejustments to the same Fanboys . They sayed the ULX will be a in stock mouse were to money hungry to they created the ULX COMPETITION so they can go back to pre orders after haveing there Fanboys alpha test there mouse for free
The beta-testing phase of earlier batches isn’t unique to Finalmouse, it is common with Razer and Logitech too and other mouse brands. I do agree the limited quantity drops are anti-consumer and they have fallen short on their promises numerous times, but I still believe the ULX is a good mouse.
@@itzKami Ignore comments like the above ... It's easier to throw shade at smaller companies compared to the major ones. People just love to hate to try to be different.
if your a true asian youd use the topre gx1 over the wooting
I'm not asian, but I don't think race and gaming keyboards go hand in hand in determining your race.
