RINO THE WINNER IS.. FENDER AMERICAN VINTAGE II FAR AWAY !!!!! IN EVERY POSITION PICKUPS -- IN EVERY MUSIC STYLE -- FINGERING -- PICK-- SLAP !!! FOR ME ... SELL THE ORIGINAL BASS ......YOU CAN TAKE LOT OF MONEY FOR OTHER BUY !!!
Definitely a difference between the 2 output wise with AVRI II being the hotter pickups. Definitely more modern sounding than the original 66. The original 66 had a midrange "raspiness" to it that the AVRI II couldn't duplicate. Both sounded good though.
The original vintage 66 sounds brighter and more raspy. The new one sounds almost a little muddy. I'm a little disappointed hearing them side by side actually.
So this is not compared to the American original 60s jazz bass right? . I don't understand, the vintage ii is compared to vintage i? Not to the american original 60s line from a few years ago right?
They're very close. Great comparison. Thanks!
Yes , thanks for your comment 🙏🙏🙏😊

I am Japanese.
Great performance and sound.
By the way, what bass amp are you using?
Like other videos, is it SWR?
Thank you Yoshiki 🙏🙏🙏😊....in this video i use a AVALON U5 😉
Grazie Mille Alex🙏🙏🙏 🙂
Top vidéo ! ❤ what are the strings used please?
Thank you 🙏😊♥️.... D'addario 45-100 nickel 😉

the first is a 1966 Fender reissue, the other is an original 1966 Fender
