Even Laowa is cheaper still costly for one who can't buy & I always try to think about this combination of Laowa 100mm 2x + Raynox 250 DCR... searched in youtube before, any one had tried this combo. As a macro learner nice to see this video & finally I see you have used that combination. Thanks :)
@@rossorosso Hi ! No unfortunately ! I only go to Brunei once in a while for expeditions. But no more expeditions so not sure when I will get there again to visit my friends :-) Perhaps in 2021 if I can make it to Borneo again... we may do a small side trip before or after going to Sabahµ. But chances are slim at the moment Are you there ?
:-) well I'm neither ! Gear has been purchased over a number of years. But actually except for the camera (and lens to some extent) the rest is quite unexpensive Chinese-made gear. A lot can be found on Amazon at reasonable prices and the setup can be replicated with less gear too ! But indeed macro is definitely not a cheap hobby ;-)
Just discovered your channel. Informative video and great videography of those little critters!

Nice video, fun to watch but, alas, unaffordable equipment for the non-professional...unless you're an orthopedic surgeon or PI lawyer.
