When I first heard this I could.not.stop. listening! It's too groovy! Thought i'd remix it for the modern era of synths but didn't want to stray too far from the original. Hope you enjoy :) Download and spread the love!

I was looking at so many of these hydrocity act 1 remixes and covers for juuuuuuuuust the right dynamic and sound set. There's a very solid guitar cover by Fabien Berthe that captures the spirit of the original in an excellent way (check it out if you haven't!), but this! This is exactly what I was looking for. Your sounds mimic the original in a wonderfully enhanced and amplified way, where so many videos added too many voices, or gave it too much of a big band flair.
Thank you so much for making this! If you ever made an extended version (do you ever rework things you've put out?) you should totally throw in an electronic breakdown part where it goes... quarter time? This is already in half time, so... maybe that. Something dubsteppy without going too nuts. Anyway. I'll stop raving. Thanks again!

I tried not to stray too much from the original and I'm glad that that's been appreciated -this is all really valuable feedback :) Whilst I don't think i'll rework this again, I might continue to do more video game remixes from the same era, some of the soundtracks on the Mega Drive/Snes were AMAZING!
+David Orton Definitely! I was mainly a Nintendo guy growing up, but I do love the iconic sounds of the Mega Drive. Something about the basslines/tones always gets me. Definitely going to check out your other stuff, looking forward to hearing more!
