- This film features the Ford Motor Company advertisement of the European Ford Model C Ten. You see that at the end of the film. This vintage short movie depicts what it would be like to own a new Ford automobile and enjoy a Holiday or what Americans call, a vacation. The car was manufactured in Great Britain (also referred to as England). The movie, Holiday Time A 1937 Europe Ford Motor Company Promotional Film, is a short film more than likely shown during theater movies as a preview to the motion picture that would be seen soon after.
Another car featured in the film appears to be a Ford Model Y. This car was specifically designed for markets outside the US and was the replacement for the Model A.

An interesting point about this flick. The '37 flick itself is in existence (obviously) but I could not find anything about the song. I have noticed this before. Sometimes my search is fruitless after a good period of looking. Some say if it isn't on Google it isn't real. Ha! I should make a list of what isn't real!

I love the quaint style of the 30's 'vocalists'. They enunciate every vowel and consonant so clearly So genteel! And the three ladies on the ol' piano! Incidentally, that dolly in at 0:36 is a bit dodgy. Still, a fun piece to watch and hear, and compare with today's talent.
