@@MrSoulXreaper They don't have restores to restore def so besides the KO potential of the AGS, BGS is going to be much more effective because if you don't get the KO, their def is going to likely be so low from BGS spec the dps will be through the roof.
Team link here. Please for the love of god, can you please start using 1 spin on every slot to start off link. This way if you get an op item you might choose your other items with that in mind. It's effective because you're going to use a spin on each slot anyways, so better to get a glimpse at what your working with before you decide what set up you're going for.
I'm loving the rolls. You get the excitement of how many spins you'll have, then watching the strats/rng with spins and finally the fight. All very engaging.
It's interesting how opal bolts are the best bolts in normal pvp but in something like this where they can't roll for pots, emerald or dragonstone bolts would be way better, yes they could roll a dfire shield or serp, but those are really quite rare and its an easy win if you get one of them and the other player doesnt have the specific item
In a pvp situation people usually bring a antifire pot and restores. Making dragonstonen bolts (e) and diamond bolts(e) useless and making opal bolts better in that situation. But link doesnt have pots so dragonstone bolts(e) are by far the best dps.
You guys should really put dharock's greater axe in the spec weapon tab so you guys can make going full dharocks possible. I mean the axe is used most often as a spec-like weapon instead of a main hand....
Hate to say it but I don't think looking at the average loot number did anything but tilt you guys. With how variable the rewards are the only reason they're so high is definitely the high price ones changing the average just because they're so much higher.
Idea for a series - the Combat Achievement Series. Each player starts with a fresh account, that's been trained up to base 40s and has 100k coins. The aim of each episode is then to complete as many combat achievements as possible. For each achievement, you get points. Easy = 1 point Medium = 3 points Hard = 5 points Elite = 10 points Master = 20 points Grandmaster = 50 points The points then equate to randomiser spins at the end of each episode, 1 point = 10 spins, and you fight at the end of each episode (have to limit the randomiser to equipment the players can wield depending on their levels, so training has double benefits) After all of the episodes, you fight in the best gear you've obtained throughout the episodes for 1 point, the person with the most overall tasks completed gets 1 point and the person with the most points throughout the series gets 1 point (meaning it is out of 3 and you're guaranteed a winner).
Maybe in traditional pvp, which would i rather lower his defence by 30+ levels for the whole fight or have a weapon that can spec high twice in the whole fight?
@@LinksOcarina I get where you are coming from, you usually have long fights, but with an AGS you can easily smack 70s and get the KO quite easily, without much skill needed. It's all hindsight though, innit? You might have rolled straight into the BGS, just unlucky
It would be cool if you guys did this again, but we’re allowed to also include the loot from the clue scrolls into your final gear setup. (Aka if you pull a ranger hat, but spin a coif you can use the ranger hat in the fight)
Have you guys considered a hide and seek challenge where you try to find a 3rd account on the same world that you're both on? This account could have a random PvP item on it each location and first to find it gets the item. Great content as always, keep it up lads. X
you should do one where you roll your entire gear setup at once, and get a certain number of re rolls but you can't roll individual slots, you have to roll the whole setup if you want to re roll
Do you think you guys might ever Re-Do some of your old single episode pvp challenges like the one where u can go anywhere and do anything one u did against j1mmy and 9 rain or also just like some more 2v2 pvp challenges
Median coin value is probably better measurement than average reward for comparing if you're only opening 3 chests. (So dont get upset if you get under average, its more likely to happen). Enjoyed the video, keep it up!
Idk if you guys have done anything like this but. How about a challenge where you guys have set amount of combat levels, each time you kill a monster you subtract the combat level of the monster from the total pool until you have 0 levels left and you have to make the best setup possible out of the loot you get. For example if the pool was only 100 Rargh could go with a safe strat and kill 25 men and 25 goblins to get to 0 while link would wanna go with a bang and kill 1 river troll (level 49) and 1 experiment (level 51). Ofc in the actual video the combat level cap would be higher so that higher tier stuff could become available.
It’s made pretty clear that links goal is to lower Rarghs defence with a spec weapon, which in an “outlast” fight like these, is infinitely better than a KO weapon like an AGS. This isn’t anything like regular PKing
Ever since the beginning of these PvP challenges, I’ve wanted a true friend to do stuff like this with. Wish my brother and I had done this kinda while he was still alive. Love the vids dudes.

You should up the anti and randomize the inventory as well I'm sure a spinner out there exists...take it another step further and randomize the quick pray set up.
NEW VIDEO IDEA: you guys should each have a number of points (maybe 300), and you can use these points to get gear. you have to walk around and look for people with gear on and you can use your points to use what they are wearing. for example - if you see a combat level 70 with a dragon scimitar, you can use 70 of your points to bring the dragon scimi to the fight. you should also make a limitation that you can only take one piece of gear from any given world just so that you cant stay in world 302 where there are a ton of people. the catch is if you want to use high level gear, you will be spending more points since you will probably need to find someone with a higher combat level. also to make it more interesting you can make the weapon slot cost double the person's combat level - so a level 70 with a dragon scimi will cost 140 points
something that could turn the random loot more varied and not using 100 rolls on one thing is first rolling for specific slots to roll, say you roll and you get 20 weapon rolls, or 15 ring rolls
Do you guys have a rule against using shield specs or something? Cuz I've seen multiple videos now where someone with dfs or dfw doesn't operate shield for the dragonfire ability.
Opal Bolts (e) might typically be more effective in PvP, but that’s only because most pkers run Super Antifire Pots; And So in this scenerio they were not better and actually much worse considering the +9-10 Max Hit and rolling against mage defense versus melee.

It should be a rule that you have to use all your spins. Say you have 100 spins left, but you like your gear. You have to use the spins, and decide what slot you wanna risk getting a worse item for
I'd like to see pots possibly being rolled? Maybe 5 rolls each, someone could grab brews, but not restores and get brewed down because they couldn't roll a restore on their last few chances?
I don't think average loot is a good way to look at these clue scroll challenges. Think of it like this: if you open 1,000 clues, 990 are worth around 8k each, 9 are 3 million, and one is 25 million. The average would be ~59k. But if you open one clue, you should not expect to get 59k. You should expect the median reward which is ~8k. This helps with some game theory
DWH is only situationally better a good bit of the time, if you want hit to land CONSISTENT go BGS, you want big high risk high reward hit then go DWH, BGS accuracy superior.
Randomizer could work for me if the episode content was some kind of tasks. Like Link and Rargh have 2 hours to do as many tasks as they can, harder stuff (get a boss unique, do a fire cape) would grant more rolls on randomizer and easier stuff (bake a cake inside lumbridge, do a easy clue scroll) would grant less. Make more tasks than anyone could do within the selected timeframe, so there would be desicion making in what tasks to pick. Current randomizer challenges would be as exciting if the episode gimmick was "we roll 6 dice to see how many spins we get on the randomizer" and that's my problem, never go double rng.
