Always appreciate this segment. Thanks boys!
I'm sorry did he say he had problems with the taco and a tundra? That doesn't sound right... does it? Perhaps they aren't as reliable as we hear.
Forgot to say thanks, really like that you are involving real owners giving opinions.
@@nlitend1 theres gonna be at least 1 truck with all brands that has issues with how many they produce. just because his had issues doesnt mean that all toyotas arent reliable.
James Calvert isn’t it he said he is been a Toyota in his whole life!?? I don’t think he owns just one!? But indeed he still purchased a Ranger.. beside the style of that Ranger are more looks good than Tacoma.
Actually the start of this Series began with a lifelong Ford Raptor owner who had become a very unhappy Ford Raptor owner as the Platform got to upgradin'
“I didn’t like how expensive the new Tacoma was” AND that’s why people are switching to Ford and Nissan.
❤
Where are the interviewees who 'hate' their cars? Been dying to see one of those episodes: )
Fiat 500 owners come to mind...
It's asked multiple times every video. Maybe someday the TFL crew will find someone.
@@Sir...... unless it is the abarth

Most people are going to like their vehicles unless something bad happens at which point they're probably going to get a new one they do like, kinda like how this guy explained in the video.
"And it's locakable"
This is the Lockpicking Lawyer, and here we have a Latchit Rack....
His challenge videos are the best.
Haha! As long as it keeps out those with less expertise (virtually everyone) then I'd still consider it great!
Awesome ! 😂
My grandfather had an old ranger
Sadly he passed away about a year ago
But thankfully he did have a chance to see the new ranger before he died
I’m considering a new ranger in the same color as grandpas
Just bought my 21 xlt sport a couple months ago. I’m absolutely loving it. Only time will tell if tot holds up though. If I can get 10 good years out of it I’ll be happy
@What's Up? I got it for $32k. I did get right right before it seems prices jumped a couple thousand. Also I didn’t get 4x4 so I saved a few $ there too. Still love the truck tho. It just fit me just right
Nice, I’m getting the new Maverick in red, similar red of my Dad’s 66 Bronco. New Bronco didn’t offer a hybrid and I’m a sucker (or cheap skate) for $20K price and 40 mpg?
Do it bro it’s worth the money had mine for a year now and I love it more and more every time I drive it
A rebate is an apology from the company for over charging you in the first place.
After rebates they are still over charging....
it's just a psychological game to make the buyer feel like their getting an even better deal! Sweetening the deal is the name of the game! The sweeter the better and look at the buyer leave all smiles :)
@@arturotorres6437 You’re spot on and here’s to you 🍻.
Yaaaaa sure. He's exagerating too. Here in Ohio got 1500 rebate! His wife is watching.
@@michaelscott285 best truck in class. Best tech & features. U get what u pay for. Ford's trucks always been bit more expensive but truck guys know they are best
Being a Toyota owner myself I quite enjoy this truck myself. Plenty of power and deos what I need it too. Zero issues going strong at around 75k miles
I used to own a 1996 Ford Ranger XLT 2WD 2.3L. Bought it new, and it lasted me over 20 years with simple regular maintenance. The most expensive item I had to replace was brakes (front and back). Absolute dream to own. I wonder if the new Rangers will be able to last as long, as I’m thinking about buying one.
This truck is overall the best. Thanks for the update on such a great comeback that wins over the competition. Keep up the great vlogs on Ford trucks.
My last Ford Ranger I had was a 2004 with a V-6. Used it for work and it had 753k when I sold it.
My 1998 ranger 4.0 has 788 000 miles on it ...it still purrs like a cat.....
Wish they put the 4.0 in it
I'd but it rt now ...but probably still get it in another year or so
holycrap that's a lot of miles. I just bought an '04 to get me through arctic winters, and mine has 99k on it. I've owned 4 of the pre-2011 style Rangers and the only time any of them was serviced other than routine maintenance, was an EGR valve recall on my '93. By me anyway, these things are durable as anvils.
the 4.0 sohc has timing chain guide and tensioner issues, eventually you need to have it fixed, but the 4.0 ohv from, i think, 2000 and older rangers is an absolute tank of an engine.
Holy crap great
The 2.3lima is very good motor and..great mileage
Seeing as he is an ex Toyota guy I would be interested to hear from him when this vehicle gets around 80,000 miles on it and get his opinion vs his past Toyota's.
I own a Toyota and Ford Ranger of the same generation with high miles. Only one has needed a new $8500 transmission.
oldpilot nz which is...?? I know it’s the ford but humor us.
@@Flying_GC the new 10 speed and the 2.3 ecoboost are a pretty solid pair
The biggest problem with Toyota's are how little power the v6 makes . The 4 cyclinder seems to have great power compared to their 6.
I have a 1998 f150 that I bought brand new in 1998 and other than maintenance I have spent less than $1000.00 on repairs!
Just bought a 2022 Ford ranger XLT this year about to pick it up. I like how Ford has been operating as a company and can’t wait to get my new truck.
Just bought one of these and I like it a lot . Didn’t get a great of a deal that he got but was still a worth while purchase. Got the built in gps and 4WD . In the process of customizing it too.
Taking my Ranger off road so far only once and it’s deep sand trails by where I live and I went through it like it wasn’t even there I still say I love this truck LOL!
Taco's do that in 2wd....Get with some tacos and follow them😁
@@nofrenz2065 I test drove both ranger and Tacoma. The ranger was so much more fun to drive it’s not even close. Depend on what you want out of a truck. If you want something fun and comfortable, go with the ranger. If you want something you can drive 20 years and 400k, go Tacoma.
I test drove the 4 cylinder Tacoma, I have never been more uncomfortable in my life. No way I want to drive that for 20 years. I’ll take 10 years from a zippy little ranger anyway
I'm turning in to an old man - my comments on new vehicles are 90% negative.
Introspective, too!
Look at all that plastic back in my days the rough cuts on steel cars would lacerate my hands
I’m not mad at you, I do the same thing. Cars and trucks are so flimsy now, plastic intake manifolds, beds that flex when you use tie downs, thin sheet metal, I dented the roof on my Tundra the first day I got to home, way too many electronics, I could go on forever.
I agree
dark matter the to many electronics thing is just advancing with the times. It’s not the 19000s or early 2000 man
Great vlog on the Ford Ranger! I literally bought a new Ford Ranger XLT the same day I saw this review. I love my Ranger and your review made it happen. Thank you so much.
Proof that there's a sucker born every minute.
Proof that there's a sucker born every minute.
I bought one in January, xlt supercrew with the fx4 package, its in the iconic silver color. I absolutely love it. My first and only other vehicle I’ve ever owned before this was a 1998 ford ranger. I’ve always loved the rangers. Great trucks. 👍🏻
Raptor grill is SICK. This specific owner knows how to mod! I just wish that Ford didn't give the Ranger such an aggressive rake to the windshield.
Note to self: Mod #1 is that Raptor Grill
@@gregh2880 Litterally Just ordered it . I bought a used ranger with 10k miles on it. Its black but has a tanish color ring around the grill . Its been my biggest irk since I bought it. Rapor grill with lights gonna make it look so much better with the black on black.
My neighbor recently did the same thing; traded in his one year old Tacoma for a Ranger. He said his transmission did the same weird shifting and he felt it had no power. So far he's loving his new Ranger.
That’s why I think the second gen taco is best.
I rented a 2019 4Runner a few months ago and between the transmission's "quirks", the lack of power from the 3.5L V6 (you've got to rev the nuts off of it to get anything out of it, no torque at lower RPM), and the fugly looks I don't see how people can justify the $55,000 price tag. I bought an Impreza a month later and it's no powerhouse but I can drive down the interstate without downshifting and needing to run 4500 RPM or more.
The 3.5 should have never been put in the tacoma. What a fail. And the 2019 4runner has the 4.0 but instead of 6 gears only 5. The best combo is the tacoma with the 4.0 and 6 spd manual.
@@sergeysmelnik agree, it's geared a little low, it really needs a lift and 33s
@@sergeysmelnik Was the 2019 still the 4.0? It was absolutely gutless unless you revved the nuts off of it and sucked down almost as much gas as the V10 in my F-250. I spent almost $400 to rent it for an extended weekend hoping to have something more comfortable and fuel efficient but the 4Runner was a massive disappointment.
Never had either truck and I’m on the fence on all these trucks so this is a great video to get an aspect from a guy coming from Tacoma’s to the new Ranger 👍🏼
Get a 250
Just bought my Lariat FX4 Ranger with 0% interest. Loving this thing in every way. The seats are the most comfortable ones I've ever owned!!!
They are offering 0% on the Ranger? Ford site shows best rate on Ranger is 0.9%, still a great rate but free money is a big incentive!
What was msrp on your complete options and what did you pay (if you don't mind me asking)? Thanks.
8,000 miles here and I still love my FX4 XLT.
Chris F Let us know how it is when you hit 108,000 miles.

This is a great build. I love the tall / skinny Duratracs. Just got my Ranger and I think I’ll go Eibach coil overs and struts in the rear, Duratracs, and a trifold cover.
I bought the 3.2 l diesel Ranger Wildtrac here in Thailand back in 2005 and have only 26,000 miles. I love the truck and it will run. Minor issues with some plastic parts but other wise very well pleased.
I test drove a ranger when they first came out, I really liked it. The power train was great for a midsize truck, and having the low end torque and 10 speed is great. I went with the 3rd gen Tacoma, but with manual. I think if Toyota put a better transmission in it, say a solid 8 speed, it would have paid huge dividends for them down the road especially with the increased competition. Also finding some more low end grunt out of the 3.5 would have been nice too. I guess that's what OVtune is for. Both nice little trucks though. But damn, I wish the Tacoma had a little 4.0 V8. That would be a dream.
These are always the videos I look forward to, happy people and their vehicle stories :) love it.
PS: Andre definitely asks great questions and you can see he's also having a great time interacting with these people, it's awesome.
Love this owners honesty. He’ll tell you what he likes and dislikes about his truck instead of love love love this truck!
First time I ever heard someone buy a Ford because of reliability issues with a Toyota. What kinda alternate universe is this
Keivin solomon
One where the Toyota fan was honest
Because Toyota does have their problems. It's just the brain washed people deny it.
Toyota trucks are made in the usa, that's why. 4runner is still made in Japan.
Haha yeah. He isn't any better with a turbocharged ford, but who cares
More common then you think...
1800 miles, but super reliable!
Let us know again at 100K how reliability is going.
I have had my 2004 Ranger since new. I hope to get many more years out of it.
How many miles?
I have a 4.0L Tacoma TRD ORD, great truck with an auto transmission. Has 156K miles, kept up with just regular maintenance with changing fluids and brakes. The newer Tacoma's I'd buy is with the 2.7L I4 motors. Tried and true engine that is noted for it's durability. My dad has one that is a 98 with 356K miles on it, no issues at all. Just had to replace the stock fuel pump a few months ago and the clutch 20K miles ago. Best truck he ever had for 15K lol
Good morning from Albuquerque,I just recently bought my new Ranger from Power Ford ironically its the same color and model.I have never been a big Ford fan but I’m one now. Thanks for the video maybe I’ll see you around town.
How about a segment for those of us who are on a tight budget called " I love My New To Me Ride?

Yep, I will never buy new, I just wait and read/watch reviews on vehicles I may buy after they have been tested for 5 or more years.
Check out a channel called "regular car reviews"
Hey, you're smart. Especially right now if your ride is paid for. In a month or two, especially if we're all on lockdown, i'll bet repoes are going to be going crazy.
That's a nice looking truck. Both the dude and Ford did a good job of things.
I just hit 1 year and12,800 miles on my 19 xlt 4x4. still rides/runs like new. no problems.
I bought the new Ranger FX4 Lariat 4x4 in early October and immediately went on a road trip from Idaho to Minnesota and back (3,500 miles round trip). I seldom went over 70 mph and hardly any freeway driving. I got 25.1 mpg (paper calculations)
That is impressive if correct. Was it Ecoboost V6?
@@paulmoss7940 Hey Paul, the ecoboost in the ranger is the 2.3L, 4 Cylinder. It produces 270hp / 310lbs of torque.
@@paulmoss7940 No the Ranger only comes with the 2.3l ecoboost 4 cyl.
The Ranger owner also said he lives at an elevation above 5,000 feet, so that's going to have an impact on fuel economy.
Where from in Idaho?
I really like the Ford logo on the front. Reminds me of the Raptor.
Hence it being a Raptor Grill. lol
@James McC2.4hum Except they don't even sell a Ranger Raptor here, and they have substantially wider fenders and bedsides.
Good episode really informative I have been thinking about getting a Ranger I have friends that have to Tacoma They seem to have issues with transmission costly They seem to have issues Once they hit like 70000 miles costly issues... The thing they don't like is that not much change of appearance Go back 10 years and they still look the same.
I remember the Ford Ranger Splash in the mid 90's lol. That was a nice little truck 🚚 ☺
And a lot cheaper
Still have mine
Andrew you are not the only one. My 2 year old Tacoma has been suffering for the same issue (among others). The truck gets stuck in 4th gear quite often on the highway. Complained to my dealer(s) many times. They say it is normal. I have bunch of other (electrical issues) that never got addressed by the dealer(s). I even complained to Toyota and got "case number" whatever it means. Nothing ever got fixed. I am at 22k miles and will push through couple more years until hybrid trucks with better MPG come around. I am done with Toyota truck though.
I think it’s funny when people mod thier trucks and then complain about the MPG or Dependability like its the manufacturers fault.
Like Derrick Short above
Big Mo owner wasn’t complaining
@@BlackGT1999 True. Though most of the comments are either "hurr durr bad MPGeezuz" or "only 1800 miles? check back when it has 3 million"
@@406Steven Spot on. That pretty much is all of them.
I was in Cambodia back in '16 and was drooling on the Ranger and couldn't wait till they came back to the states but I love the look of the 3rd Gen TRD Sport Trim level on the Tacoma plus the resale value is a lot better. So after looking at both very carefully and taking them out for a test drives I picked the Tacoma. Thank you for the interview.
Definitely agree tacoma over ranger anyday
Mountain biker, here! That rack is SOOO clutch!! Thank you for doing this!
(My 03 Sierra was totaled by a drunk driver last year, and I’m sorely missing a truck. This is now at the top of my list for new vehicles.)
Nice truck. The Rangers are nice. I test drove one and they are comfortable. The FX4 suspension is a bit floaty at times but it's understandable with the off-road capability. I'm seriously thinking about one because I'll be ready for a new vehicle soon.
Andrew is one of the best guest yet. He should make spot appearances on TFLT.
I bought a 19 Lariat when they first came out one of the first on the road. I had 3 production issues worst being a actuator arm breaking in the dash. It controlled airflow and I had no ac. I have 35k on it and it's a nice truck I give it a solid 7 out of 10.
Good to see the Ranger back, never understood Fords reasoning for axing production in the first place
Couldn’t pass crash test mandates
Spoke with a Ford employee (that works at the plant where they used to make the Ranger). He said they didn't want to cannibalize F-150 sales -- the golden goose -- until they couldn't hold out any longer with the success of mid-size trucks in the USA.
In my case I have a 2014 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 v6 66,000 miles on it ,almost 2 years with my truck and for me is a solid, strong truck and it’s my first Toyota product being a Honda Guy.. just drive whatever you like and enjoy it..

@@reaj2010 average of city and highway is about 22.5 miles/gallon. city and highway are only a couple miles/gal difference. Over 20 thousand miles and I still love it.
I just bought my first truck. It’s a 2012 under 85k miles. Very happy with it! I don’t foresee myself ever buying a new vehicle.
got one, I love it. Faster than a Taco, better mileage than a Forrester, and more towing than even the diesel Colorado
Love the way this truck drives. Very responsive transmission and engine, much better and has much more torque than the midsized truck v6 segmant
The issue that I have always had with the Toyota Tacoma is the lack of head room. I am only 5' 9.5" and I hated the feeling of having my hair brushing against the roof unless I reclined the seat way back. My biggest wish for a Tacoma refresh would be more headroom. That is one thing the domestic manufacturers seem to be more mindful of.
I’m 5’ 11” and I hit my head getting in my Ranger. Unfortunately I can’t slide my seat back too much since I have three kids in the back seat.
I have a 3rd Gen Tacoma with some mods. I'm glad I opted for the manual transmission. I love the truck. I've had absolutely no problems with it. It's terrible that Toyota would sell auto Tacomas w/ transmission problems and at a way higher price than they should.

I hope you have good luck with the truck - anxious to hear an update in 1,3,5 years.
Nice move on the Icon. Looks good.
The grill is amazing
I too was in that 16-18 mpg range but now it is more in the 20-22 mpg range. Crazy tip that range goes up if you are going 80 plus mph !
Great video this guy is really detailed and specific on differences in his vehicles. The rack is really cool as well. It's been 2 years now any updates?
Thanks for this, perfect timing! I was interested in this vs the Tacoma.
Come on now, man. Get a Toyota! My neighbor’s 2019 Ranger got diff leakage at 3k miles! My 3rd Gen Tacoma has been absolutely reliable.
My 2016 tacoma TRD off-road was garbage. The motor was gutless got horrible mileage and the transmission had no clue on what gear it was supposed to be in. I also had to have the bed and rear bumper removed as it was 1.5 inches out of alignment on the passenger side. I was so happy to get out of that thing, Toyota will not be getting anymore of my money.
This guy came from a 3rd gen Tacoma and was very pleased with the improvement, after renting a 2019 4Runner I certainly wouldn't buy anything on that platform either. And if differential leaks are the biggest worry that's nothing a replacement seal or some RTV (depending on the location of the leak) can't fix. The rear pinion seal on my '04 F-250 has been leaking for years, it hardly ever needs topped off but I just keep forgetting about replacing it and it hasn't been an issue.
Vader Gen 3 nothing but issues. Toyota Fan Boys
depending on my driving the mileage has been a low of 23 mpg and a high of 29 mpg. the average has been 24.3. as a Lariat, the total cost was $36,000. has the HD suspension and Trailer Package with spray-in bed liner. I've had 7 other rangers that had slip-in liners and were a bad idea as were bug shields. all they did was cause damage to the paint and rub holes into the hood. some of the ideas for accessories for this truck I intend to add to mine such as the storage boxes and gate shock.
Gas mileage sounds good. Him saying he gets 15-16 was shocking. Prob drove it quite hard.
@@MeltingRubberZ28 how one drives the vehicle matters a lot when mileage is concerned. my most recent usage of my ranger had an average MPG of over 40 MPG and a low of 19 when towing a loaded trailer over uneven terrain. would still whoop a new mustang gt from a stoplight.
I agree with him. 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport - had trans issues and electronic issues that the dealer could not figure out. We live in LA so we drive a lot - about 24k miles per year, and we ran out of warranty - as soon as we ran out warranty, the dealer told us they now know what the issue was all about, and will charge us to fix it.
Just bought a 2020 Ranger Lariat and love it so far. Smooth highway driving. Also great radio.
This guy is super confident in owning a truck and comparing it to his old trucks, and only driven 1800 miles.
Lol that's what I was thinking
I don't think so. He said he was happy so far. He qualifies it with that statement. He pointed out the good and bad and he said he would be back to do a follow-up. He was giving honest impression of his new vehicle, what else can he do, except come back and update everyone?
Marco do you honestly believe driving a vehicle for less then one oil change can give you a reliable review?
That’s why most automotive companies have long term reviews, this guy is nit picky about absolutely everything, you can tell by how he even complains about such small things.
I bet without a year or maybe 2 he will find reasons to hate this truck too and go back to a toyota.
@@MadMedeiros I'm not sure who statement you are reading, but maybe you should try reading mine again. The guy is giving his impression of his new vehicle, that's it. Just because you would not choose that vehicle doesn't mean you have to bash him or me. He's not saying that the vehicle is going to be flawless, he's not saying that it is the best thing out there or most reliable. So he gets a new vehicle and he likes it. I'm not sure why you have a problem with that. He was nit picking, but he was nit picking about the ranger. He stated his reasons for trying another brand. He listed specific problems with his Toyota vehicles and by the way , they are not nit picky problems. It's not like it's a secret, those are known issues for those vehicles. If you don't like his truck, you don't have to agree with him, but damn he's just giving his opinion about his new vehicle that's it.
I have 25,500 on mine and its been great!
Had 2 Tacomas a 2006 and a 2011, both rusted out in NJ weather, their chassis looked like Swiss cheese. Both less than 150k. But my 78' f250 390 still going strong a little rust but nowhere near like my Toyotas, and My 93' Ranger 4.0 5 speed with even less rust than our daughters 2009 Camry.
Toyotas are so overrated. Especially Tacomas.
Had an '85 Ford Ranger. Was the smoothest, well built little truck that ran forever with no issues. I often wondered about the guy that bought a GM s-10 pickup, what a bad decision.
I had a Chevy S10 pickup. It was junk!
I always like how clean Ford Designs are.
Loved my 19 lariat until 7500 miles it spun a rod bearing. They did put a new long block in it, but just having a hard time trusting it now.
I love your set up and I think it’s a smart move to go with the Ford Ranger it’s a very good platform you know I was a Chevy guy 100% all my life until I started purchasing Ford’s just by happenstance but they have been such a good vehicles and last so long now I am completely converted to Ford I have owned Nissans jeeps Chevy Dodge everything but my Fords have way outlasted everything else it’s not even close so good luck with yours
ripfletching Thanks man! This is my first Ford so hopefully it lasts!
corpsman247 I am in the towing industry and I see them come in with 1,000,000 miles for transporters so I think there’s no problem I have an old bronco that has almost 1,000,000 miles and I found several with over 350,000 before I traded I’ve never replaced the transmission or a motor on a Ford they just seem to last forever matter fact no part of the drivetrain including rear end or front end on my four wheel drives so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about and I am an off-road or like you also
I grew up a Chevrolet guy and will be buying an F150 as my next truck. Especially given the issues with my current GMC Canyon. GM is generally great at initial quality, but it doesn't last. From what I've seen, Ford's initial quality is nothing to write home about compared to the competition, but it lasts.

Talk to me when you truck hits 80,000 miles
Smart man. Tacoma peaked in 2nd gen. 3rd gen is a TuRD!
I have a Tacoma ... so much Taco fans! 🤦♂️
This guy has good taste in accessories. They look of high quality and integrate very nicely.
Think about it. This guy pays 32k plus for a truck and then has to buy a $500 bike rack to carry a bike as the bed is too short.
Well done and nice truck!
Dude. Helluva truck AND the deal you got ! Grats man. Ranger is looking pretty good these days.
Looking forward to see how he feels in a year.
Fords aren’t bad you just got to take care of them.
I’m on Ranger #5, currently driving a 17 year old one as a work/winter beater. I’ve never had a mechanical issue with any of them (I hardly ever have issues because I am fastidious about maintenance), hence the purchase of this old one. Nearly 2 years on, I’ve had zero issues, and 100% of things work. Every electrical accessory, the CD changer... you name it. Dunno about a 2.3L Turbo long term, but the Taco engine is woefully antiquated by every measurable statistic, and you pay for that 24/7/365.
Got myself a 2019 Ranger. Love it so far (only 7500 miles) and have had no issues.
I would hope not with only 7500 miles on it.
The auto trans on the 2016 and newer Tacoma’s is a common complaint, really souring people on Tacoma’s. Glad I grabbed a 2015.
2nd gen was the pinnacle of Tacomas, minus the inherent frame rot found on all generations of Toyota pickup/Tacoma.
If you are putting regular gas in the ranger, then 15-16mpg is spot on. I am getting 19-20mpg a few tanks after switching to 93. Also I have a bit of a lead foot so I am happy with it. Around 7800 miles and counting.
I'm getting 20 - 21mpg with 87. Yep, lead foot, lol!
I average 23 mpg with regular gas so I wouldn’t say it’s “spot on”
I just picked up my F150 Lariat V8 last night and it has 238 miles on it. It has been very reliable so far!
I own a 2019 lariat fX4 ranger. Traded in my 2009 ranger sport for it and I love it. I plan on doing the raptor grill at some point plus swap out the exhaust.
Thank you for trying something new with your channel with this idea. I would like to know more about the person’s background. For example, is the featured car the primary vehicle? Second or third one? Kids and pets? Percent of miles driven on paved roads vs off-road? Daily commuter vehicle? I was shocked that a four-banger only getting 15 mpg. My 2014 Grand Cherokee Summit 6 cylinder was getting 21 mpg overall.
Nice video! Crazy to hear he's only getting 15/16 mpg. I have a 2018 Raptor and regularly get 17-18. I can get 20-22 on long highway trips if I drive conservatively.
My new Tacoma V6 TRD Off Road Double cab is getting 19 mpg - no mods yet though
Not sure how that guy gets such poor mileage. My ranger averages 23-24 mpg and I don’t drive super conservatively
Not sure how he's getting this mileage, I also upgraded the tries on my 2020 Ranger and I still get around 22 mpg.
@@JLeff16 what size did you upgrade to? Thanks.
ok! We are ready for the follow-up!
I had a 2001 Ford Ranger brand new many years ago and my main complaint was the 3.0 v6, 5 sp manual drivetrain (lack of power/ get up and go). The new Ranger drivetrain seems very impressive, however, Ford should update the interior of the truck to make it more appealing to a broader market.
