so glad to finally see the harmony tb video!! would love to see a boothill video in this series, as that would involve single target taunts, ramping damage stacks, dealing bonus damage to weakness broken enemies, etc. would have a lot of interesting things to work around.
Though I don't know how it would work I like the idea that the super reactions are extreme buffs to the reactions base off what the reaction does and their elements. Pyro is damage, Cryo is debuffing, Hydro is Hp manipulation, Electro is ER focus, Dendro either EM or uptime, Geo is Def or shield related, and anemo is crowd control. I love the concept of Super reactions. My head hurts right now ti think of how it'd be implemented. Can't wait to see what you think of for this.
@@ahlemlora1452 well... Boothill is a break dps so of course he deals break damage, all break dps do. However like op said Boothill does not have anything in his kit that gives himself superbreak, he needs HMC or Fugue to do that unlike Rappa and Firefly who do have it baked into their kit
@@BlackTheDogBut he does have “superbreak” in airquotes, because he deals basic break damage with each attack against a weakness broken enemy. I think he doesn’t do the “overflow to Super Break” conversion, for example, requiring the enemy to be weakness broken at the start of his attack.
Super reaction is a very interesting idea on paper, but it's hard not to make it too similar to just a walmart nilou for all reactions. Which I assume is why you used damage bonus as the stat that determines this buff to make it more than just a glorified reaction with the em part of the equation tuned up. But in hsr, super break doesn't scale on dmg bonuses but break effect and the enemy's def, so it also doesn't make much sense. The idea I had was to make a normal reaction buff based on em, but also add the enemy's def to the equation for transformative reactions, and character level for amplifying reactions. Since they normally don't have that. I also imagine it is triggered under conditions other than the enemy being on weakness break. I was thinking maybe after TB ults, party members who trigger a reaction gain a set amount of stacks(or maybe it can be teamwide), and these stacks can be consumed to deal super break damage(like sigewinne's ascension passive). This can also help tune the TB's kit to be an f2p fourstar by implementing ICD's and such, cuz I felt like that was too op and meta defining for an f2p unit. That means we could also differentiate fugue from the TB in the future, by making her add an aura onto the enemy instead, making you deal super break damage to them with a faster ICD, and more accessibly, not only being more in line with their identity as a harmony unit and her identity as a nihility unit, but making her a 5 star upgrade to them as well.
I would like to suggest that superfreeze is, when the enemy is unfrozen, they will take additional damage based on the character that freezes them emelmental masterey and DMG%. And the damage the enemy takes will also be increased by how long they were frozen for. So basically the closest to the OG superbreak. This could be interesting in shatter, freeze-melt, and perma freeze teams. Shatter and Melt because you get smaller instances of superfreeze+the other instances superreaction dmg. While for perma freeze, it's more like a nuke of superfreeze dmg when the enemy eventually gets unfrozen, than the tiny instances like the other reactions. And they'll obviously be blooms, burgeons, and burns too since Harmony TB is Dendro.
This is why I love your videos, because it pains me to see the untapped potential that genshin's combat has, (albeit it's nuances are locked to a character, i.e xianyun.) And your ideas breath life into them.
I get why it’s Dendro for reactions but Imaginary is so Geo coded in color, and theming superbreak around modifying Geo’s crystallize would’ve been more fitting imo Fun video regardless tho!
I remember someone mentioning that the Imaginary tree icon is supposed to parallel Irmensul, which was another reason I chose Dendro. Love me my lore XD
As another commenter said, a boothill video would be great, I do have to point out that Boothill doesnt have superbreak, he reproduces break, you probably meant Rappa lol
@@kana_emiya yeah as a boothill main i was scratching my head a bit at that statement in the vid - iirc bro said he isn’t as familiar with starrail as he is with genshin. i can see how someone could mistake boothills EBA as a single instance superbreak
I wanna see how you would do summon characters like jing yuan. Obviously you would first have to work out follow up attacks like adventurines. I also wanna see how you would implement action advances like bronyas, and I wanna see how Sunday would work since he buffs more in summons and advances summons. This series can go very far
Raiden and Nahida have follow up attacks. Action advance would be Chiori, but instead of just switching, the Character could be forced to use Skill or Burst. Sunday is Sigewinne buffing off field skills (all summons + other skills)
I have a couple of miscellaneous ideas for Reactions, I just don’t know if they’re appropriate for Super Reactions. The first is one I’ve seen many people converge on which is having Crystallize provide either an Aura or a buff depending on the crystal’s element. I just keep thinking of Azhdaha’s versions of the elemental absorption. My second idea is an upgrade for Burning. I thought a Relic set or character that triggered a stronger instance of damage after so many ticks of a Burning would be interesting. Kind of like Nahida although not triggering on reactions and it could be AoE too, like they combust or detonate. Again, not sure if those are appropriate for Super Reactions, but it doesn’t hurt to brainstorm.

i were made a boothill kit idea that revolves around using shatter and superconduct reactions and is mainly EM based
Imo Boothill would fit ZZZ better (burst anomaly with massive assault damage on stunned ennemies)
Herta recovered the video for us
Bless her soul for bringing me the file ^_^

1:16 so umm boothil doesnt do superbreak by himself, but rappa does
It's not "superbreak" but he does do break damage on his own.

@ unlike FF and Rappa who have atk to break conversions/ atk to increased break dmg received. And a talent that says they can do superbreak dmg

love how this makes chars like xilonen and kazuha a sort of ruan mei in hsr giving res pen and dmg%(equivalent to break efficiency)
sucrose c6 might be the best support for dmc in that case cuz she gives res pen, half the dmg% that kazu or xilonen give but a lot of em

Your idea+ disassociation explosion would be interesting imo, so kinda like a stackable freeze
imagine we get duped *again* , i honestly think that would be hilarious [this comment was posted a day before this video premieres]
Surely I wouldn't be a trickster again... surely...

WE WANNA SEE U PLAY MARVEL RIVALS
My computer’s barely able to run it XD. Maybe when I get an upgrade
Super superconduct: aoe physical dmg based on elemental *+ physical* dmg bonus
I’m a strategist main as well I play Invis Women and Cloak and Dagger

On the contrary! These are both very good concepts for a Super Reaction!
Next Up; Remembrance Trailblazer in Genshin Impact!!!
That’s just Xiangling… MemMem, get them!

I wish true damage would also be included in genshin
Since it’s present in Abyss blessings, hopefully it’ll be easier to cover in a future video :D
me when i when me i when spiderninja1 makes a discord server
Maybe do firefly next
Rmc next (it’s gonna be loucha)
Probably gonna take a break from the “expanded mechanics” and just do a general 4-Star next lol
@ btw do you plan to bring all the hsr characters on Genshin or one day you will have enough of that concept? (And probably do Genshin chara in hsr)
I'm learning so much about HSR from these
As Stelle would say, this is garbage!
The only time I accept garbage as a compliment XD
