    I’ve been journaling since I was a kid. I can’t imagine life without it. It helps me see through the lies I tell myself, fully understand myself, and look back on my life and see how far I have come ❤️

    What I do every day is I fill out a set list of questions in a Google Form I get emailed to me every night at the same time using IFTTT. This allows me to aggregate stats quickly and identify trends.

    I have a limiting belief that I 've just realized has been buried deep inside my mind for some time that has been blocking me from being creative. I essentially stopped creating. I have been journaling for over a year now and it's helped me to slowly peel back the layers of why I have this block. Mostly it's been about fear; fear of judgment from peers, fear of failing, fear of not meeting my own standards, or fear of not being able to handle it all. But now I realize there might be something else there.
    Do you have any advice on how to "excavate" further to find what is that last thing holding me back?

    Thank you for posting this Erin, I've often found myself stuck when all I want is to move forward.
    I am going to do my journal entries with this type of way for a couple of months and vlog about my experiences to see if there is any progress :D

    Hi Erin, thanks for taking the time to make this video. I have been hearing about the benefits of journaling for so long but it doesn’t come naturally to me - basically I get stuck trying to work out what to write. I love the idea of asking questions to prompt the writing - that’s a big lightbulb moment for me. Thank you so much!

    I'm a 23 year old recovering addict. I am nearly 2 years clean. And the thing that really helps me is Forwago. I discovered about it a half year ago and I have been using it every day since. I feel there is still hope for me.

    The productivity culture makes us care so much about the result, that we forget to enjoy the process. The Forwago helped me to keep improving myself and achieving my goals while still enjoying the process, and I am so grateful because of that.

    I love how the universe gives you what you need....I was just asking myself...what is holding me back...and I know its inside me...I just didn't know how to access it...and then you pop up on my feed as if by magic!     Oh wow that sounds powerful. I've tried different ways of changing limiting beliefs that haven't really worked for me. I've recently got into journaling and have been loving it. Please do more videos like this!

    I tried this for the first time after watching your video a couple days ago and I was so astonished to see everything that came flooding out of me.     Journalling is the only habit that I am consistent with for years. I journal to clear my mind, to set the tone of my day, to express my feelings, to document my days, to plan my days or even life... basically anything. Wherever I go, I bring a pen and papers and that’s all I need.

    Great video as always. I’ve not really tried journaling but you’ve explained it and how to do it in such a simple way that I think a) it will really help me deal with the issues that go round my head daily and b) I will actually be able to do it on a regular basis.     Hey Erin, thanks fpr the amazing video! I just found a limiting belief this week and worked through it by journaling and your video would have helped so much! I figured out a similar prozess for me though and work on my belief with your suggestions now. I practically never comment but love your videos.     Do you have any advice for when you can't figure out what your limiting beliefs are? I know I have mental blocks (because I am not moving forwards in my business) but I can't seem to identify exactly what it is that is stopping me. I've used stream of consciousness journaling and using prompts like you suggested in your video but still can't seem to get to the root cause. Great video!

      For me the next steps would definitely be some type of coaching or counselling. Having someone else ask the right questions can be very powerful!

    Will definitely try this asap. I really like journaling but I’ve been struggling with sticking to it. I only have one question: when I do this and after a while the false belief came back should I reread what I wrote the fist time or it’s better to write again and never return to the old one?

    Joke aside, journalling techniques for self development and business success, is a very interesting and passionate subject that I would LOVE to learn more about.
