I believe the pinnacle of his power feats was his force storm that could mutilate a planets entire surface, which storm is easily capable of. Granted Palpatines powers went beyond that I think force storm is also what he used to open holes in time as a means of time travel. But Storm also has magic wielders in her lineage, I could see her incorporating magic into her god-like control of weather, at which point shed effectively be hot Palpatine, but with more charisma. Ill never not be irritated by the way film adaptations trashed her potency. Her powers and presence always made her the coolest mutant to me, by a mile and a half.
Even though the lightning in the dumbledore/voldemort scene is only a side-effect of the battle, it's still my favorite wizard's battle in cinema history. If anyone else has some truly.... magical.... wizard duels that feel as different and unique as that fight, please suggest them!
I think Illusion could be an interesting power to see the evolution of on screen. Trouble is, it takes so many forms, from Loki’s holodeck-style projections to FX Legion’s reality-bending hallucinations.

I wished you also had put TASM 2 Times Square slowmotion scene in. That one shows the lightning pretty well. Anyway, great video. Glad you did use TASM 2, it’s really underrated and the CGI team really did great work!

Storm’s powers in the X-Men movies really frustrated me… because they seemed so slow… like she has the ability to create localized tornados that generate massive amounts of electricity… she is so powerful in the comics… an omega class mutant and they reduced her to a taser with silver hair.
Honestly, there is everyone and then there is Emperor Palpatine. The movie was not up to my tastes but that display of power looked cool.
