He wasn’t just a rapper- he was a firefighter and a 9/11 first responder. A hero. I’m not going to act like I was a big fan of his work but I definitely heard songs here and there and I remember when Roc Marciano brought him out as a special guest at a show I attended years ago. RIP KA
What a Great Black King and Hero You Are... Brooklyn was Fortunate to have you...Thank You for Sharing your Life with Us...Hip Hop Never had a Brother like This Before... Rest in Eternal Peace Brother Ka...🙏🏿

One of the greatest
Blessings from the West Coast. Loved KA’s music instantly when I heard him first on Fire house off Gza’s Pro Tools album. This new ruined my day. REST IN POWER KING KA.
So many artists make it AFTER they enter eternity. So sad.
Sadly I never heard of him growing up, but may he RIP ❤.
*Arguably the best 🖊️ in history.*
Love you Ka 🖋️🐐
Another rapper I've never heard of until death
REST KING 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡…
In a time when most rappers try to blend in with a digital beat, Ka chose to put his lyricism first, and in effect mutated hip hop sub culture around him to create a strain that flourishes in samples that evoke the world of classical beauty, contrasted against Ka's brutal realism, which always involved the individual wresting with staying to their moral code or losing everything. He made paying attention in school worth it. Also cool seeing Justin Hunte
REST IN PEACE 🪦 too bad never heard of this influential rapper

Have some respect 😕
Leave the internet alone for a second and get in touch with humanity wtf
Never heard of this guy.
If he's known in tv and movies of his music and international, then yes, RIP. But still...
What legacy?
Nothing gained nothing Lost
🙊🙈🙉🦍
YES!!
I can't even imagine how big of a loser you would have to be in order to post on the comment section of a local news station to express joy at the loss of someone who was a first responder on 9/11. How small you must be inside. What have you ever done so great in life. No anger, just amazement
Never heard of him
Never heard of him
I hate that he and his music is only becoming widely known since his death. He was definitely a skilled lyricist, and made music you could feel. May he RIP.
True art is always amplified in death. Grief Pedigree is a masterpiece album.
“For them to appreciate my verse, I’m the type that gotta die first”
