One thing to note with the rhinoshield is that if you have a camera lense protector, you have to remove it. The protective ring around the camera will pop off since it is not compatible with any lense protector.
Yeah I can see that because the cutout around the camera is very tight. I never use camera protectors myself.

Nice review. Solidsuit fan from the very beginning. I was just waiting for MagSafe. However, in the meantime I've also become a big fan of Caudabe.
I was about to buy one for my iPhone 14 Pro, but I checked YT first and your vid just popped out and I’m so thankful I watched it, cause I hate when the case has flexibility
Totally agree with you honestly my favorites cases are the caudabe and solid suit but this design of the camera is so bad I think they make a huge mistake I don’t know why they need to try fix something that wast broken and people actually love it the only thing they needed to add was grip on the side and MagSafe I love how tight the rhino shield was now caudabe got what I want.
I have a collaboration rhino shield solid suit for my 13 pro max and I think it’s pretty much perfect! I don’t know what it is about the redesign but I’m not really a fan. Think I’ll just stick with my 13 pro max and solid suit combo for now!

Hey Tee What case would you say is more protective outterbox symmetry, case or rinoshild solidsuth
I just bought a cobalt blue Solidsuit but mine has a design on it. It's worth noting that the ones with designs don't seem to leave fingerprints at all. Also while I'm not crazy about the look of the camera ring, the design on the case makes that a little less of an eyesore.
Yeah the design will for sure work alot better

I am so glad the first thing you touched on was The off-center “v” line on the camera ring. That single annoyance is what prevented me from buying a Rhinoshield. What were they thinking?
Yeah that is an annoyance for sure and I'm honestly not sure the reasoning with it. I want to ask to make sure it's not something that I'm missing.
Is RhinoShield screen protector compatible with a privacy screen? And is Rhino Shield water resistant/protection?
Rhinoshield is having a BlackFriday sale right now, I ordered the Blue Solidsuit with Orange Buttons and Camera Ring.
The quality of the cases have went down hill. My last one was so sturdy and protected my phone. The mag safe one is alright, but my screen protector cracked in the corner after one of my random drops. No issues with the one I got last year for my 13 pro.

Have you noticed a difference in material feel between the different colours/cases? I have a black non-MagSafe with carbon back, a black MagSafe with plain back, and my wife’s got a violet MagSafe with a print on the back. The black MagSafe one is stiffer and more slippery. The other two are softer and grippier, with a more noticeable textured finish.
You know that's something that I have noticed with other cases but I have to get these in hand again to see if I feel a difference. I thought I was crazy when I thought the same with other cases in the past.
Yes another tech UA-cam who has reviewed the rhinoshield cases, she said that the lighter coloured phone cases are more grippy and black blue and bronze are not as grippy but more tight fitting.
I have the same situation as you. I got a black one with magsafe. Slippery!
I have another purple one(magsafe). Grippy!
I bought the solidsuit based on watching your reviews. I literally fell in love with the case. After 6 months the case got loose and I could feel the phone shaking inside. I reached out, and they sent me a replacement and I was very satisfied. However, the new case began to get loose as well. I didn’t bother calling again, I just gave up.

I feel you! Rhinoshield was the best case period back in the day when they used their double layer design, like they do with their bumper. They have just thrown out the best product in the market and decided to make a cheap TPE case.
I got my clumsy dad the 14 pro max and the spigen 360 geo which messed with the glass screen protector, and then I got him the otterbox symmetry which was just fine, but I was worried about the magnet strength so I also got him the solid suit. I think the suit feels nicer than the symmetry personally. Especially the buttons
Yeahhhh I probably would take the Solidsuit over the Symmetry.
I really wanted to like the symmetry+ because of its new slimmer profile and no fingerprints, however, I had to return it because the edges on the lips are too thick so when you are either swiping back or swiping up to go home, they’re very pronounced, otherwise that would have been my top choice
Good review on case just started using MagSafe but it’s a shame I haven’t got a 14

Hmmmmm I would say they are really about the same. Both are fairly easy if you ask me.

I have a question..i just got mine…are buttons suppose to be a bit wiggly and loose?…they work perfectly fine but i was expecting them to be a bit tight and snuggly…
Yeah they do wiggle and move a little bit. Not too bad though.

I had the first rhino product it was a bumper ring. Thought it was a case but I decided to try it. I can’t even remember if it was my 6+ or 7+ but the phone dropped and the bumper came off the edge, the phone took a ding, screen protector cracked and the actual glass chipped too. Lost my faith in rhino shield since then.
Just have to mention… people are here to see the details on this case.. maybe it’s better you do take the camera ring off and back on so we can see and understand what’s involved ? Isn’t that the point of these ‘reviews’ ? 😉
Hay I see you have put a ton of cases on your iphone. Howz your stainless steel sides are held up after removing and putting on these many cases. Are there scratches pls let me know the durability 😊
For sure. Not a single scratch on my sides. They hold up really well.

@@TechnicallyTee Hmm I've been switching up my cases abit removed my Rhinoshield and putting on the Apple Silicone case and I have a hairline scratch running through the 4th speaker on the right side of the phone, very very painful for me

Just a warning - took the case off for the first time in 2 years and the sides are all scratched up! Contacted rhinoshield and they said its because dirt was behind the case. The inside of the case has ridges which cause the scratches.. beware.
Not being funny but you should not keep a case on that long without taking it off and cleaning it sometimes. You’re asking for dirt to get in a case and scratch things up.

Loved the original Solidsuit, but the quality of the new MagSafe version is very poor by comparison. The fit is nowhere near as positive, and the material is softer. Feels very cheap. Such a shame, because the original was the best tough case out there in my opinion.
You're right Tee, they really ruin this case which was rigid and strong. The winner of the worst design of the year is the man who invented this curved line

I used to love the Rhinoshield Solid Suit from the iPhone 11-13 series and it was always one of my favorite cases… But the changes they made this year are huge and make me dislike it 😤 They massacred it in my opinion. The fit, the camera ring, no thanks 👎🏼
Man tell me about it. Was so hype for them to finally get magsafe and they switched up the design on me. It's not terrible but I just like the older design a little better.

I will never buy a rhinoshield case they don’t have any grip and they never have. They know people are constantly complaining about this issue but refuse to do anything about it.
