The thread should also go through a thread pull off mechanism that comes out of the slot next to the tension assembly and moves up and down in that slot. It’s most likely snapped off (mine has on my 24) but a piece of strong wire can be improvised and fitted where the snapped off part joins the internal mechanism. I still get a stitch on mine without it. Thanks for this video.
