Honestly my biggest problem! I usually make a simple beat that sounds good, then I add some things to try and get it better or because I think it would sound good, but it just gets worse each time

@@kandy5129 I used to be like this until one day in a studio with some rappers I started to make some beats and to my surprise the most simple one´s were the most liked! From this day forward when I make the basement of the beat always ask myself if it's really necessary do more or just let as simple as it can be. But it always depends of some factors like the preference of the singer or the vibes of the day, no rule unless the most important: if it sounds good, it's done!
