This song was written by Hiss Noise, V, Adora, and Michael Schultz and was produced by Hiss Noise and V. The female backing vocals are Adora. The K-Drama this is for, "Itaewon Class" is really good! It won "Best Drama Series" in 2020 on the Asian Television Awards.
But V is the first writer of the song "Sweet Night". Other songwriters only helped polish "Sweet Night" so that it would sell better in the market. This song has been kept by V for a long time and the original plan was to release it on his mixtape along with several of his other songs. Due to request, he finally made this song the soundtrack of a popular drama series "Itaewon Class" which adapted from popular comic with the same name. This was because he was busy preparing for BTS concert and tour, so he did not have enough time to make the soundtrack as requested. And of course this song still has to go through several refinement processes by the producers and song writers team owned by BigHit for commercial purposes.
