Idk who your guitar teacher or drum instructor was..... but the failed blues dude from a small town who taught me for 15 years? He never mentioned writing methods like this..... and if it truly is that “easy,” what would you suggest is preventing me from noticing the “simplistic” structure of the writing?
Guy Buddy ive been trying to learn all of car bombs songs by ear for about 8 months now and I can genuinely say they are one of the hardest bands I’ve ever dedicated to learning.

I swear that's the sound of a strummed acoustic guitar during the clean vocal bits. Oh... and Helmet are one of the greatest. Still an amazing listen to this day!
The Universe translates impulses of existense through these guys in form of sound waves, I hear it that way. They are like a Prophets. Sorry for my bad English, I'm simple Russian man)
This is their most stand-out album imo, and that's saying something. Meta was their heaviest (this is still heavy as fuck), but this album is so eerie. It drags the most emotion out of me compared to their previous work.

Yea you can hear the attack of the acoustic strings when you hear him hit it. It adds so much more feel to the section and u can barely here it..
