I'm the owner of emzoom and these are something i want to share after one month of having this car. We are getting low spec infotainment system for both executive and premium r. This low spec infotainment system doesn't have features which are common nowadays like voice command, smart assistant etc and it's hardware is low which already start lagging the second day I got my car, now just one month and already lag like 6 years old car. The lagginess causes delay and no show sometimes for the blind spot camera, reverse camera and 540° camera. Several spec cut like air cond ambient light, 19inch R-Style rims, MC PS4 tyre, Sport+ mode. So we are not real original R-Style. This is a 2023 year end new model, 2024 new car but we are actually getting a 2018 model, 6 years old car. Car is great, low fuel consumption, powerful powertrain, spacious but compact, just the tech part of this car is terrible. So be prepared of these if you are considering this car. Now owners are waiting for solutions and decisions from management about these problems and whether we will get the basic features like voice command etc.
I get what you feel bro. But understand this. Now the car is new to the market. Especially from China to here, it has some differences to be made. So some bug and imperfections will appear. So the important thing is the company is willing to take effort to resolve or at least minimize the problem. Even the X50 my family member own still suffer with its infortainment screen lagginess especially on reverse camera on until now. As for the specification wise, I think we are getting the mid spec if compare to other markets as our highest spec for now. I know you might say the price is far more expensive than other markets highest spec. Yes I agree but sorry to say that our country is a heavy duty country for automotive especially non local made. So at the end it is still the company choice to make, whether they make it more cheaper in price and get more market share or they position the price as less competitive and gain a healthy profit. Is their choice. As a consumer I think it is still important that you buy the car you like as first priority. If the car is cheap and well spec but it is not the car you like then still no point to buy it right? I am not siding any party here just give my own opinion. Hope you get your car issues solved soon and enjoy the fun part from the car bro.
@@AnthonyLoh yes definitely understand that our tax is heavy but I don't think it's an excuse for us to experience lagginess from the second day bro. Now only one month and the infotainment system already like has been used for 6 years. This is not usual for a new product somemore this is from the top automotive company in China. We sure will have high expectations for them. The expectation is even higher when their price is higher than other brands from the same origin. What we owners can't accept is that this is a 2023 year end new released model and we get 2018 old tech with the highest variation. Even in 2018 our local brand already has these functions like voice command and they started to lag at least after few months and this was 2018. 6 years bro, this is what we get from one of the top automotive companies worldwide. I don't think anyone can accept this, some might not even believe this is from top tier automotive company when i show this kind of product to them.
@@TonySin_erh Have the system rebooted? Or restore to factory default setting? Besides of that I think all we need is to wait a software update from the manufacturer. Is other user facing same issue as well?
@@AnthonyLoh most of the owners have this issue and we all are still waiting answer from management. Software update can temporarily solve the lag but soon will be the same again because the main problem is hardware low spec.
@@TonySin_erh If it is hardware limitation then it is a problem. Glad you guys surface it out to the company. Hope that they will give a good solution on this
I own a GAC GS3 Emzoom R-Style, such an amazing car! I have 2 questions : 1 - How can I activate the blind spot monitoring to be shown on the infotainment screen whenever I switch on the blinkers (right / left) ? 2 - Can the adaptive cruise control be switched to the regular cruise control somewhere in the settings ? Thank you!
@@AnthonyLoh Good ... so, how can I set the image ON then for the blind spot monitoring ? And is there a way to switch from Adaptive Cruise Control to the Regular Cruise Control ?
Interm of power and handling this is definitely better. It is also more spacious inside. O5 might be a bit more premium for its interior and has more features such as ventilation seats and power seats for both front seats. Overall I will say the GS3 is better but it still depends on personal preference. Some just like the design and some like its more city friendly and smooth around town CVT.
These 2 have a lots of similarities. It really boils down to which one you like. The exterior and interior design. X50 has the overall more european car vibe compared to the more Japanese car vibe at least for me. GS3 has better overall handling if you ask me.

Yes you set the option on and off for the blind spot image. The adaptive cruise and lane keep assist can be separated. But not only cruise.

Great video bro!
For side mirror, on this video seems like no indicator for blind spot... Am i right?
Nope. It uses camera to project the blind spot on the infotainment screen every time you trigger the turn signal.

Bro, what is the top speed of this car
Haha I just test drove once. And no roads available for me to test top speed here. Perhaps some owner might share the information.
