Principle: is based upon the adsorption of the sample through a stationary phase & if any sample have better affinity towards stationary phase then there rate of movement is slow or elution time will be too longer (high) & vice versa if any sample have less affinity towards the stationary phase then the rate of movement is high then there time of elution is too faster (less). So , we can separate different different sample on there basis of adsorption rate and elution time.
