In emulsion polymerization, the initiation (water-soluble initiators i.e. KPS) starts in the solution phase (water phase) to form the oligomers (Initiators don't move to the micelles!!! They like water). After the reaction starts, the oligomeric radicals (more hydrophobic - compare to the radicals from the initiators) tend to move to the micelles. The animation seems to be a little bit misleading, but overall you did a good job.
