I'm a housecleaner for an elderly family and i try my best to help organize and declutter, but since none of their children are around, they have a hard time throwing things away and i end up making "neat-messes" and i only help them 2 hrs a week.

I don't have the finances to hire a professional organizer...or OCD therapist unless they take my insurance...

how do you get your 82 yr old mother to face reality and STOP hoarding stray cats. She keeps all family out of the house so she can trap cats. It is horrific. She thinks it is fine and no one's business what she does in her home. She hoarded stuff for years and now the cats are destroying everything. Sabotage at work.

Omgosh...this is a serious problem both for your grandmother and the cats as it usually ends in tragedy...for at least the cats. They end up not being cared for and can die, get very sick ; the home is unsanitary etc and a health risk for your grandmother. You should notify the Health Department asap as this situation will only get worse and end in tragedy...I have seen this firsthand..The Health Dept or Social services will do a Welfare Check. 🙏

Call Aging Health Department they will contact the right agencies to remove the cats. And keep a check on her.

I can't understand the strong Australian accent...

That isn’t a “strong” accent at all. Australians speak quickly.
