    Glad to see people keeping our tractor history alive instead of cutting them up for scrap metal. Wish he had some more Olivers. You've gained a lot of tractor knowledge throughout the years, thanks for passing it on. I like hearing about the old stuff and the pros and cons with each one.

      Oliver had a great line. The 2655 and 2255 were the biggest Oliver’s ever built.

      @@bigtractorpower you should profile Charles's classic tractors. They are not big but they are the ones that were American agriculture back in the 60s and 70s

    Just spied an old Wagner in long grass on the MT/ND border on our way home from holiday, my family hates my wandering eyes when i drive, lol.

    I love the air conditioning system bolted to the roof, on that first Wagner.!😂!
    Someone wanted to be cool and didn't care what the outcome looked like.!😂!

    Restored and beautiful is nice but seeing these old tractors rough side out and still operational is pretty cool kinda let's you know they were really meant to work and aren't ready for a museum yet !!!! Thanks for taking us along!!

    Vantastic video,and even got to see some old Massey Fergusons.I grew up on Ferguson tractors.And that Euclid dozer those are very cool I've saw one working...Like I said earlier vantastic video.!!!

      At one time before the collection started the farm’s main two tractors were Massey 1805s. I like finding classic Massey’s to feature.

    The original big bud(747) was built for a guy down here in old river which is about 7 miles out from where I’m at in Bakersfield. There was one that sat out in pasture for years, can’t remember which one. Pretty cool stuff.

      Very cool. I have been to Bakersfield. There are still some Big Buds out there like the two 740s which are the second largest tractor in the world.

    I used to drive by this farm every day and always wanted to look around. I didn't know they had an event there. They had a lot of flooding last year.

    I heard the big bud HN 250 is nearly a copy of the Wagner wa-17, only beefed up. This is supposedly due to Wagner engineers forming big bud

      Big Bud was started by William Hensler the largest Wagner dealer in the United States. With Wagner out of the tractor market in 1969, Hensler worked with his shop Forman Bud Nelson to build a new 4wd. That new 4wd was the Big Bud HN-250. “Big Bud” Nelson built the tractor and HN stands for Hensler Nelson 250 hp.

    luv it my friend have some great memories Case 930cking,2x1070s 4694, Stieger kp1400, 1000 & wildcat 225 & 435quadtrak just found Amercan gear to be strong reliable & user friendly. Harvest equip old IH then 2188, Challenger 670 that combine with its hydro drive rotor was an unstoppable beast. My son' run Kenworth Cummins Roadranger Rockwell the moto just go down to Woolies(supermarket) for ya spares likwise with my farm equiptment. Proud heritage Make America Great MADE in THE USA. Vote for u know who in 2020.

    Very cool stuff, really enjoyed that logger from Maine, my father had a homemade log skidder built from a 40’s dodge military truck he used for fire wood when I was a kid:) You don’t see to many big farm tractors till you get to the northern part of my state

      They built their own skidders around 67 and 68. They are similar to a 1250 and a 1700. There was a 750 and an 850 skidder.

    We used to own a gvi we took to tractor pulls... upgraded to 310hp... we also used to have a row crop 88, 77 and still own our 88 standard with a row crop front end here in central New York

      I did not realize my breath was so load as I was filming. It was 95 degrees out as I filmed and walked. I was trying to move quickly to get everything filmed and complete a live stream. It is easy to talk live as I film something like this rather than trying to narrate it later. Thank you for watching.

      The LP tractors were especially popular in Texas and Oklahoma where natural gas was easily accessible as a waste product from the oil fields.

    That Oliver 2255 would really look good restored. Do they have any plans on restoring it?

      I am not sure what the plans for the 2255 are. Their 1206 is fully restored so maybe at some point the 2255 will be fixed up too.

      It’s a rare tractor. This farm likes Wagners. They also now have the one and only TR 24 now.

      It was an option to have LP. They were popular in Texas and Oklahoma where LP gas was plentiful and cheap.

    I want to make a 1/24 model of a 525 Bud and 747. I just can't find any profile drawings or plans, can anyone help me out please?

      I don’t know if any line art on these. The best bet would be to measure the 1/64 models.

      Thanks for the reply. I thought of that, kinda prefer the 1/32 ones, but the Buds in particular are expensive to get here and don't know anyone with one I could borrow. Guess I mostly need the basic dimensions and will eyeball the rest. I'm in Canada so I can't see any in person since there are none here. Want to do them in 1/24 since most of my models are that and 1/25.

    it seems you landed in the land off the dead , allmost all these brands went bankrupt or out off buisness .......... sadly i think :-(
