Dear sir thank you for taking the time out to explain concepts so carefully, it is greatly appreciated. Your lecture series is one of the best for abaqus!
Hi, thank you for the very informative toturial. I have a question, regarding the need for creating a tie constraint between the beam face and the plate? In practical scenarios, if the beam is welded to the plate, I understand why a tie constraint would make sense. However, if the beam is not welded, wouldn't the bolts alone be enough to hold the beam in place?
Dear Ahmed, I am doing a static analysis with several contact regions (solid to solid, solid to shell, shell to shell). I encountered a problem. When I use 45 mm mesh size within the model (default element types), I achieve the convergence. But when I increase the mesh density, analysis does not converge. Do you know what could be the cause? Thank you very much for the help. I have started to use Abaqus 8 months ago, and with your tutorials learned a lot.
Hello, I have a quastion. Originally the contact between the gray beam and blue plate is provided by welding. How we can use the same interaction between each two part in this assembly?
Not sure I fully understand the question. Note that welding is not explicitly modeled here; instead, a tie constraint is considered between the beam edge surface and the end plate.
Dear Sir, Would you happen to have done a contact simulation between two concrete blocks. I would be interested in the parameters you are considering in setting up the contact parameters. Thank you for sharing the content of your videos. With best regards !
Thank you for your video. This warning message always appears when I use Tie constraint (for tie pair (for tie pair (assembly -s-surface16-assembly -m surf-16 ) adjustment was specified but no node was adjusted more than the adjustment distance=2.22000*10-16). will this warnning massege affect the analyses and the results? . And could you give me the way to solve it ?
Atleast part of the region to which following interactions have been applied is suppressed or deleted' After this statement all the interactions are provided. Sir I got this while data check. What should I do Plz reply
hello, Ahmed. Thanks for your video! I'm trying to set the interactions for the heat transfer solution, but I can't do it. The heat is not transferred to another part. I tried using tie constraints, but the result is the same. Can you give me some advice?

Hello Ahmed, many thanks for such a great explanation, that was really helpful for me.
thank you dr ahmed it is an awesome video
Thank you for your video, really help out my project
its really helpful thank u
Nice Course
Thank you so much

For the constriant between the beam and the plate, can we use the constriant ''shell-to-solid coupling" instead of "Tie" constraint?
Learned a lot, thank you sir!
Is there some way we can modify the interaction in different steps of Abaqus /explicit analysis ??

Can you do tutorial video on design composite column in abaqus with outet steel and inner steel with sandwich concrete between them

oh, I found a mistake. The thermal conductivity was very small. And I lost two days.
